What does your house smell like?

Today it smells like banana nut bread... I baked a couple of loaves this morning.

Usually it is whatever Yankee Candle we're burning; right now the candle of choice is Christmas wreath. I love the scent of fresh evergreen.

And speaking of candles/air fresheners... I wish there was a fresh cut wood scent. I love that smell! It smells so... clean and fresh and new.

Has anyone every tried the Wallflowers plug ins that can be bought at Bath and Body Works? They are terrific - my kitchen level smells spicey (kitchen spice), and lower level of house is (I think) a vanilla scent. These come in a lot of the same scents that their shower gels and lotions come in, and they work great.

Oh, those sound good. I'll have to check them out next time I'm in the mall. I love their products. Right now our house smells like Febreeze. I do a light spray everyday.

Can't wait to start burning some fall scents but I just have to. Summer has gone fast enough already, can't rush fall!

My house smells like Yankee Candle Honeydew Melon. It also smells like muddy dogs, but hopefully not like cat's litterboxes.

I have a couple of plug-ins from bath and body works, pumpkin spice, and vanilla, in rooms downstairs. They scent almost the whole house. Though I love the pumpkin, my favorite is cucumber melon. I bought several of these when they were on sale recently for $5.00 each!

That when you come home from a vacation and nothing has been moving around in the house to give it 'your' smell like air fresheners, cleaners, perfume, cooking food...etc that your house has a definite 'scent'? Ours smells like cedar when we come back from vacation and walk in the door. I think it has to do with the fact that we have wood floors and wooden wainscotting in the living room about 1/2 way up on the walls. We really don't notice it everyday, but then again like I said before we're living in the space day in and day out so we add our own smells to it like soap, cooking food, smelly kids that have played outside...LOL

I'm a professional crafter and I buy my supplies in case quantity, right now my house smells like eucalyptus and cinnamon, which is fine with me, but my DH frequently complains of headaches.
