Hi i am wondering what everyone wears for shoes while at disney? Sneakers, sandals? Any advice is appreciated Thanks :)

We all wear sneakers and sandals. We always bring mole skin but never had to use it.

I wear my chucks or vans, mom & grandma usually wear their normal tennis shoes and my aunt wears her tevas. Me, mom and nanny are always fine, but my aunt gets pretty bad blisters with her tevas sometimes.

I wear my sneakers and a special pair of running socks. The socks have two layers so they rub each other and not your feet. No blisters!

I wear my crocs, dh wears his normal sneakers, and ds wore sandals (he was in the stroller most of the time so I was not as concerned about good support as I was about staying cool).

DONT wear flip flops!! Did that at EPCOT on our honeymoon and LIMPED the rest of the trip!!

Sneakers for the most part - worn in but still supportive. If its very warm or rainy or for AK we may wear teva's or merril sandels.

We wore sport sandals last time (various brands). My daughters have crocs now and may want to wear them, but they slip off their narrow feet too easily and they'd be more trouble than they're worth. I've heard that some people like the Land's End mesh shoes. Whatever you wear, make sure they fit well, offer good support, and don't rub. And do bring the moleskin with you, just in case!

I wear Tevo or Birkenstocks. Dh Tevo. kids sneakers...I want them to weat Tevo because we go in June but they refuse so far.

Well worn in sneakers and coolmax socks. I also put bodyglide on my feet and carry moleskin with us.

:yay: Myself and my two boys usually wear sandles, DH is still adjusting to the whole world of Tevas... It has to be REALLY hot in order for him to wear his Tevas out and about. DSs switch between sneakers and sandles (Tevas or Hi-Tech/Columbia style). They let their feet breath and if they get wet, they tend to dry easily and aren't uncomfortable. If they had their way they wouldnt wear any shoes at all. My real life Huckelberry Fins! ;) I wear sandles that I know wont hurt my feet, Tevas or Birks... Good luck! :thumbsup2

We all wear comfy sneakers. I will be going during June so I am not sure what the right shoes will be? I have read no to flip-flops, so I may have to invest in Crocs? :rotfl:

I broke down and bought Crocs. I wore them all day today, my feet feel great! I am taking Crocs and sneakers for all of us!

DH wears sneakers...refuses to wear anything else. I rotate between sneakers and flip flops(they never really bother me, and my feet don't sweat), my two oldest DD's wear flip flops or tennies, and my youngest wear sandals.

For the most part we wear sneakers. I can handle a full day of the parks in my Reefs and we bring sandals for the days DS5 runs through the wet areas in MK.

DH, DS6, and I wore Tevas last July. DD11 wore Crocs. DS2 wore regular cheapy sandals since he rode in the stroller most of the time. No complaints and no blisters. DD's Crocs broke when we got home (the strap) but they were comfy til they broke. I will definitely buy Tevas all around for next year's trip!!

Just so you know when they replaced our crocs strap or button for free. A kid in my DS school stepped on his heel and the strap broke and we took them back to the store and they fixed them. Crocs are a must for us. We are going to buy the new crocs flip flps /sandals for our next trip.

We discovered Nike Ceso sandals/flip flops last summer. Most comfy shoes I've ever worn to the parks. Kohl's has them for $20 not on sale, and on sale as little as $14.

I had originally bought them to wear to the pool, but ended up wearing them to the parks the first day of our trip, and never once wore my sneakers on the trip. Bought some for my dds and they wore them all summer and then on our trip this fall to DL.

Just picked up new ones for our Spring Break trip.

My daughters and I wear flip flops on all but the coldest days. Try REEF flip flops. They are great! My DH wears Tevas in the hot months and really well broken in sneakers if it is cold.
