how do you make your own avatar? i guess a more appropriate question would be: i know how to make an avatar, just how do i upload it to here? after seeing Mal's competition, i started to wonder if i could make an avatar for myself, and i discovered i could, but i'm not sure how to upload it. anyone want to help????

On Photobucket there should be 3 boxes under the uploaded pictures(s), which say, Url, Tag and Img. Simply copy the Img code into your message you will see the code but not the writing submit your message or preview post and there your pictures is here.

GO to user CP and click edit avatar, scroll down and you should see a "custom avatar" box. You can click browse to upload from your computer or you can copy the Url from photobucket into the Url box.

if it goes on about file size limit and 4kb, it could be that the file size is too big for these forums. You can PM me the photobucket link to the image and I can try to fix that for you.

I don't think you need to upload them to photobucket or anything before uploading them to the boards though, I think you just upload them from your computer...
