What does the April 1st mardi gras concert mean for our trip?

I had no clue that mardi gras celebrations would still be going on. I see a concert is scheduled for Friday, April 1st. Where is the concert held? What does it mean for crowds that whole day? Will the parade still be going on? If so, is it worth seeing? What time is it held and where?

Yes...the parade will be going on that night. It usually starts at 8pm and winds its way through the park. The concerts are held in the band shell next to Twister and Jimmy Neutron. The crowds are getting heavy the closer to Spring Break but Mardi Gras doesn't add a lot until afternoons and only in the Studios. The parade is really cool. I have pictures posted on here somewhere.
