What does going to WDW mean to you & and your family!

For us, it's been the best of both worlds -- something for the kids (and the kids in us!) and for the grownups, with all those great restaurants! I have a friend who thinks we're nuts that we go every year and finally bought a DVC membership, but what can I say? We all love it and look forward to it. My inlaws go all the time too, as does a childless couple of ours, so we must not be the only ones!

i agree with all the postings. disney is just plain special. we have excellent family time while there, we enter a different reality and enjoy ourselves free from all the everyday stresses. most of our friends don't understand why we want to go to disney every year and sometimes it gets frustrating to get them to understand how wonderfull it all is. we think disney all year long waiting to go back, shows, travel channel, videos, books whatever as long as its disney we're happy.disney world is not just a place its a way of life.::yes::

Pure Magic!! How else can you put it? The minute you are on Disney property, the feeling is overwhelming. I never got to see WDW as a child and went for the first time on my honeymoon. I could never have imagined a place could make me feel so "warm and fuzzy". I had tears in my eyes then and now that my DH and I have taken our 2 DS's, I get tears in my eyes just watching them. They experience the magic on a different level and I hope they carry that on to their children. Who knows....maybe they'll ask us to return with them when they have children!!:scratchin
