What does Disney offer for Honeymoon ???

I know they do not have honeymoon packages but someone told me that they add some special touches to your trip if you tell them it is a honeymoon. Well I booked my trip with AAA and she didnt say anything about it.
What can I expect?

You might get a free piece of cake here or there, you might get some congratulations, you might even get a personalized menu.

Please note these are all mights. The only things they Will do are things you pay for.

Make sure when making all your dining reservations that you have them list your honeymoon.

My husband and I went on our Disneymoon at the end of August 2009 it was such a magical experience.

I would first off suggest doing a Disney Honeymoon Registry it was great and really helpful to go towards paying for various aspects of the trip.

We stayed at Port Orleans- French Quarter and were "up graded" from a standard room (parking lot) to a Riverview room which was great because we walked out the front door and were right on the water. We were also put in a more secluded room which was great because it was quiet and relaxing.

We had dinner at Boma where we received a special dessert which was great because we are both vegan and there were no vegan desserts at the buffet. At The Wave we were treated to some wonderful sparkling Shiraz wine which was so nice. We also received strawberries and champagne at The Brown Derby.

At the Disney store at downtown Disney we "received" a congratulations phone call from mickey and minnie and when we arrived back at our room we had a signed photo congrats photo from minnie and mickey along with some mardi grais beads.

Also we made shirts for our days at the park that said things like Disneymoon 2009, Just Married, ect. and wore our "Just Married" pins which you can get from the front desk of your resort and this led to lots of congrats from CM's and other guest it just made everything feel so special.

I would make sure to really just embrace everything and don't forget to get a little goofy it's your honeymoon!


i know that you can purchase gift baskets and flowers to be at your room when you arrive and you can set up a professional photo session to get your pictures taken. There is no set honeymoon package but lots of little perks and wyas to make your disneymoon the best.

I would go in expecting nothing. If you want something special, set it up ahead of time and make it happen.

We received all sorts of pixie dust but most of it was minimal.

We did get upgraded to a king bed at the GF when we checked in and had a cool view of the monorail and huuuge balcony.

We got celebratory champagne at some of the nice restaurants. At Jiko a random gentleman had a ton of leftover dining plan points or whatever and asked the server who he should give them too and she suggested us. Our 200$ meal went down to about 50$ (we paid for the booze )

The rest of it was maybe a free dessert and a ton of congrats.
