Every now and then I see the phrase "De Colores" on a bumper sticker on a car. (I hope I'm spelling that correctly!)

Does anyone know what it means? I've always wondered.

I see those too.....I think it relates to some sort of weekend religious retreat for married couples(?)

"De Clores" comes from the religious retreat called "Via De Cristo" or the Way of Christ. It's a protestant retreat for adults whether married or not.

I went to the retreat several years ago; it was kind of cool. Basically, it is Christians talking about their faith.

Wasn't that also a song on "Barney" way back when my now-13 year old was watching it? The older hispanic girl would sing it (Tina's "older sister").

Catholics participate too. My mom did it a while back. It's a spiritual retreat for all Christians, not just protestants. I am pretty sure that's what the bumper sticker refers to.

And I believe it means "in all the colors" (of God's love).
