What do you wear to the parks?

I always try to be stylish, but end up super uncomfortable and worn out by the end of the day.

Does anyone have any suggestions for comfy (but stylish enough) clothes, including shoes (i've yet to find a pair of shoes my style that are genuinely comfortable).

I normally just wear shorts and a t-shirt, especially in the summer time. There are a lot of small shops that sell trendy t-shirts, some of the trendiest ones right now include Once Upon Apparel, Pixie Lee & Co, and one of my personal favorites, Pretty Little Monograms.

As far as shoes go, Adidas with cloudfoam were a game changer for me, and you can find them at Kohls for pretty cheap.

wear shorts or jeans/leggings depending on when your going. During the months of December, January, February, ect. it gets chilly and quite cold at night. so you may want a sweater. Stay away from the flip flops at the parks because you will be doing lots of walking. I suggest runners or converse (that's what I did and my feet were fine). There are also some water rides so keep that In mind too. You can really wear anything you want to. The parks for the most part just effect your feet. And it rains in Florida close to every day so a rain jacket might not be a bad idea.

Okay, so for foot gear, totally go for strap on sandals if you're going anytime between March and November. Even wearing them in the winter months is bearable. But because of the chance of rain, it's HORRIBLE to wear tennis shoes, even waterproof ones. The water finds a way in. Trust me, I spent two days at Disney in actual pain because of wet shoes.

Clothes wise, I always go t shirts and jean shorts or a short skirt. There's a bunch of cheap Disney tees on Amazon, and you can even find them at Goodwill too.

I like wearing comfy shoes (usually tennis shoes or fashion sneakers like Adidas) and a supportive bra is a must, especially for the roller coasters. If I feel like wearing a skirt, I wear shorts underneath it. Tank tops or t-shirts usually do it for a trip, but I bring a dress just in case no matter where I go.

Shorts and t-shirts are your friends. Though it can get cooler in the evenings so pack a pair of pants and a jacket.
The most important thing is a pair of breathable shoes as rains do happen as well as any wet rides. My last trip it without fail rain for 5 min every afternoon. So shoes that will dry out fast are lifesavers.

For warm/hot weather I wear shorts and a disney T shirt. I tried bringing 'nicer' tops and never wore them, so I don't waste the space in my luggage now. I do pack one nice outfit just in case, or if we are planning a nice night. For cooler weather, I wore jeans and a disney tshirt. I didn't bring a sweatshirt so had to buy one - now I bring one. For shoes I wear New Balance sneakers and my feet are fairly ok. They are sore and sometimes hot, but when we sit to rest I take them off and let my feet breathe. We went for Dapper Days one time and I wore a fancy dress with petticoat (and shorts) underneath, but wore plain tennis shoes because my feet would not have been ok with sandals or heels all day.

I wait for deals at Landsend.com on comfy tee shirts and can often combine a promo code. I have paid as little as $4 per shirt. I have a large, unworn stash for vacations and "shop" from my closet. I then go to Etsy and order appropriately themed seasonal Disney iron on's and put together my tops for about $10+ each. Bottoms are typically jeans, indigo or black. We stay in a villa with a W/D so I wash daily. I always bring one nicer outfit and a couple nicer shirts but rarely wear them. I get fitted for sneakers at a local shoe store and don't mind paying to be comfy. Tevas and Landsend.com rash guards and shorts for around the pool. I wear a fleece on the plane and bring to the parks for cool evenings. Don't forget the ears!

I am a total flip flop girl or barefoot in real life. But when I visit Disney I put on my padded tennis shoes and I am good all day long. I also always choose dark shorts or capris if summer time. I am always afraid I will sit on something dirty or if I get wet from any rain or a water ride you wont see anything LOL

When it is an extremely hot day we like to go mid day back to the resort & change into fresh clothes. Some days you literally have to peel your clothes off.

For the most part... cotton T-shirts, or breathable material... light color especially for shirts or tops... no short shorts, or overly tight as they tend to rub and crawl...

I like sleeveless shirts, that cover the top of the shoulders...

Shirt and/or shorts that dry quickly, for the wet rides... We always take our shoes off for the wet rides ( put them in the back pack), and throw on flip flops in line, when done with the ride throw them in a large ziploc, or even just a regular bag and use as needed...afternoon rain shower out they come again...

Light weight or pack-able hooded rain jacket... this way you can use it for the weather, and inside the restaurants if needed...

If you are going to wear sandals, make sure that they fit well, and have a back on them.. I really would shy away from flips in the parks walking around all day, absolutely no support...

I prefer lightweight shoes, whether they are athletic, or boat/deck shoes, loafers...

Socks, make sure that they fit around the arch of your foot, extra support... When we travel I put socks in the carry on for everyone, and carry extra pairs in the day bag... wet or damp sock can and will cause blisters...

Bring at least 2 or 3 pairs of different shoes, changing up works wonders...

Good Bra's and underwear... are a must in the heat and humidity... while they might not be your regular style, no one's going to see them so go with comfort above all...

I love skirts and dress's for in the evening... wear something like bike shorts underneath them, for the just in case's, it's windy, or it starts raining, or you are trying to get in and out of rides... or you are standing and other people are sitting on the ground or you want to sit on the curb or ground... it make it simple enough to keep everything out of the view of the world..

As far as clothing goes, this is kind of a broad question. I've been down in both summer and fall. I'll also make the assumption that you're staying at the parks for the whole day without time to go back, as I've found this to be the majority of cases. In Florida, the weather is the biggest deciding factor. In the summer, the baking heat calls for something light and airy. Try a larger t-shirt that's made of cotton or microfiber, as those are breathable fabrics. Shorts are also a great call, but avoid jean fabric because it will stick, chafe and rub. The dye can even come off on you from sweat if they're cheaply made. Grab some good sunglasses and leave your jacket behind. I've found that dresses or skirts can personally get a little hard to manage in the seconds you have to get on a ride...especially if it's a coaster where you also manage bags and a restraint. In the winter or fall, it can sometimes get down to a chilly 50 degrees. I wear a t-shirt and a light jacket and capris or jeans. Keep in mind too that some restaurants have dress codes that you may need to pack something nicer for. Refer to Disney's site for instructions on that, but I've worn a dress and sandals for one and been fine. As far as shoes I usually pack some higher-end ones and buy a pair a few months beforehand to break them in. Brands like New Balance, Hoka, Brooks, Nike, Under Armor, etc, etc, are great to wear in parks and are generally made well for use afterward. If you have accessories like glasses or Mickey ears, consider either not taking them (contacts are your friend!!) or picking up a glasses holder (an adjustable band for the back of your head to hold them) as they work to keep both ears and glasses on.
Okay, now there's the question of where to look. For bottoms, you can look at department stores like H&M or Aeropostale or even Kohl's. Walmart is also a good spot if you're willing to dig because they're cheaper. For shirts, you can order iron-ons or shopDisney ones, but I've found pop culture merch sites like Hot Topic, Box Lunch, and even Amazon are more reliable and cheaper. HT and BL also sell harder to find merch for things like Kingdom Hearts, mini backpacks at half the price of Disney's, and other things you won't find on Disney's sites or properties. I shop there before anywhere else.

I usually go with tank tops and tennis skirts in the summer! The tennis skirt is because it dries fast if I sweat or go on a water ride, and it's super cute. When it's "cold", shorts and a T-shirt, with a hoodie in case it gets really chilly. As far as shoes go, I've never really paid much attention to the kind of shoe, but to the comfy memory foam arch support inserts. Any half-decent sneaker should be good with the right inserts.

I usually wear jeans, leggings, or shorts and a t-shirt. For shoes, if it's cold, I wear running shoes because I find them to be the most supportive. For warmer days, I wear structured sandals like Tevas.

If you want to look trendy and cute, one thing you might consider is Disneybounding. Look up some examples online, but you can look super cute and "Disney" without ignoring comfort. I've done Rapunzel with a belted tunic top and leggings, Star Wars characters easily with leggings and long vest-like tops, and Merida with a pair of jeans, some hiking boots, a marigold colored shirt, and a teal/green flannel. The possibilities are endless.

I like to dress a little nicer than most would. That being said it is hard to do that when it feels like 110°. In the winter or late fall, I’ll typically wear nice jeans or chino pants with a button down, and I’ll throw on a jacket in the evening. Now when it’s warmer outside I’ll tend to wear some khaki shorts and a polo. I typically will wear dressy tennis shoes as well-they go with my look while still allowing me to have some sort of comfort.

I basically dress like I'm going to the gym. In the summer I wear running shorts and a tank top (sometimes cute Disney themed ones I've found from Etsy that are generally pretty loose and comfortable - sometimes an athletic one). In cooler weather I go for leggings and swap out a tank for a T-shirt and a light sweater or jacket that I can put in bag when it warms up during the day. For sneakers, I swear by my New Balance fuelcore energize - they're light weight, comfy, and dry quickly if they get wet. I had a pair of Adidas cloudfoams that others have mentioned, but they just don't have enough support for me for the whole day. For sandals I have a pair of Crocs literide sandals that may not be the cutest, but are really comfortable and don't leave my feet hurting at the end of the day.
