What do you think: "vaccine caution" or an embarassing fear of needles?

I hate shots, blood draws, etc and can't deal with how many vaccine needles I've seen on the news. That being said, I'm a school speech pathologist and want my life back, so I've had dose one and am excited to get my second dose next week.

My dad finally confessed that he is terrified of needles, but he is scheduled for dose one next week. He knows he will need it to travel for work.

I’m pleased to report, that for me, this was a total nothing burger. On a pain scale of 1-10, it was probably .5 I’ve had hangnails that hurt worse than that. It helped that it was super well organized, and the people were super nice. My total experience was 15 minutes.
I’m taking a rain check on the Dairy Queen as it’s 4 degrees here. I’ve opted for Cheesecake Factory instead
