Which ones do you think will be the hardest ones to get?

I THINK ALL THE MICKEY TOYS WILL BE HARD TO GET - OF COURSE THAT IS COMING FROM A MICKEY LOVER.

MY RONALD MC DONALD FRIEND TOLD ME HE SPENT A COUPLE HOURS TODAY DIGGING THRU BOXES TO TRY AND GET ME SOME MICKEY TOYS. HE GOT ME STEAMBOAT - YEAH AND I HAVE SORCERER. WHAT A GREAT FRIEND.

Sounds silly, but I think that the one that you really want, is always the elusive one! I am DESPERATELY eating through happy meals looking for Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent! :D

I have to say Mickeys (all of them) I have eatten about 50's so far and have not gotten ANY!!

You don't have to get the Happy Meal to get a toy! You can buy them by themself for $1.

By the way, it's easy to put the name up close to the bag and in the light you can read the name of the character it contains. McDonald's should be more than happy to trade it for another toy (only if you DON'T open it). We've done this plenty of times.

Good luck!

P.S. We have the Sorcerer's Apprentice, but I think the original black-and-white Mickey would be a dream come true! :)

I wish, all the mcd's in a 60 mile radius, sell them for $1.71 - $ 1.92.

I have found the toys range in price for ONE her from $1 - $1.87.
We scored Band Leader last night. So I am heading back there today to TRY for Steamboat.
We FINALLY got Buzz. And only agian because a GREAT McD supervisor went through her stash and found one for us. We tried several times and had all from the case but Buzz. But finally!!! :bounce:
I still want Cheshire Cat, and we are missing some dwarfs. So I still ahve a few I want to get. But I managed to get the ones I REALLY wanted. :)
We are taking a road trip today, and decided to stop at the McD's along the way to buy (eat) and trade. :) We aren't taking the road trip just for that of course. But we figured we would see a McD's OFTEN.
In all our searches, we have only seen Flick once. But there are many of the figurines we still haven't seen at all.
The glasses are disappearing fast here too.

Luv2Roam - go to the McD's site, they have a "trip planner" that will show you all the McD's on your route.

The Mickey's seem to be popular with the DISers. I want all 100 and am only 1/2 way there :( ! What I find interesting is the difference in quality. Some have come out of the bag quite dirty and some are pretty shabbily made, like Aladdin. Then there are some that are really nicely made, like the goofy and pluto. The plastic is really different on all of them. I'm also surprised that none of Pooh's friends were included and that there is nothing from Peter Pan.

I haven't found anyone here in Northern California selling them for less than $1.87, at least you don't have to buy the food! I am sick and tired of the #2 meal :D :D

PeterPAnFan- I agree with you about the differencein quality in the toys. Some of the toys Ihave received (like the dwarfs) have been very nice. But I received a Princess Aurora from McDonalds, sealed, and when I opened it, it was dirty, she had yellow paint streaks all down the back of her blus dress, etc. She just did not look good. I was surprised because my other ones all looked pretty good.

The Mickey's do seem to be most popular among the DIS'ers (I have gotten 2 Steamboats already, but don't email me, I already traded them both). I think everyone has there own favorites (I am just collecting the dwarfs, anyone got a DOC?).

Peter Pan Fan -- Also notice quality differences.
I haven't had any too bad. But Alice is slightly defective. Some dwarf's quality is not so good. And then there is Dopey, who looks great! And the Brave Tailor, and many others, look great!
I scored Steamboat here in town!:D A very nice employee dug around and got him on the third try!:bounce:
Then I had a very weird experience south of here. I thought I was going to have to get the manager involved over a stupid toy!
I gave the clerk two toys to trade, explaining what I was wanting to do. And DH and I each bought a happy meal. That's four toys, right? Simple? No.
She was insistent I should only get two and buy the other two! :p
I gave her the two traders. She turns around and puts them in the bin. Turns around again empty handed (and empty headed). And I had a heck of a time with her.
I know when we left she told her cohorts we stole two toys from them. 2+2=2, doesn't it? Thank goodness they aren't all like her. I'm glad she doesn't pin trade! ;) -- You mail me your pin and pay me for my pin too; then I will mail it to you! What a deal. :jester:

I had a simular experience, We went to an out of town McD's Yesterday and I saw the guy (manager) grab our 3 toys from the same bag, I ask if he can get three different ones, he tries to agrue with me that they are all the same. so tell him, that each section is a diffrent toy. So he goes ahead and does what I ask. Low and behold three different toys. Then when we get them I have 2 of the 3. I go to exchange, which he not all that happy about and tells me that "this is it, you can't trade anymore." Well needless to say, i will not be going to that McD's anymore.

I have only had 1 person out of all the McDonalds I've gone too offer to let me exchange them. One actually had a big sign "NO RETURNS/EXCHANGES OF TOYS". Gee, how customer friendly! Our walmart has a McD's and they are really friendly, the manager said that she opens all her boxes and mixes them up so that people won't get the same toy. I Went to one yesterday and ordered 5, got 5 Alices!
