What do you think the chances are that they'll add a 2nd Spectro in Dec

I copied last year's schedule and on Saturday's there were 2 showings of Spectro. We will be in the MK on 12/4 and right now, the MK is scheduled to stay open until 11:00 but Spectro is scheduled for 8:00 and Wishes for 9:00. Doesn't that seem strange that they would have Wishes 2 hours prior to the park closing?
Hopefully they will change this a bit as we get closer.

i don't know either, but i was there last year on that saturday night(and will be there again this year ) and originally there was only one showing of spectro, just like this year. i can't remember if it was one or two weeks beforehand that they changed the schedule to include the 2nd showing of spectro. so it is possible they could do the same thing this year...i'm sure it just depends on how many people they anticipate will be attending that night.

They were open last Friday night until 11:00pm and there were 2 Spectros - 9 & 11.

Strictly based on the fact that they will be taping the Christmas Parade for ABC all day, it doesn't surprise me that they wouldn't run Spectro twice.

tjkraz -- You're right about the Christmas parade taping. It does sometimes affect how many times they run Spectro. I don't remember about last year, but the year before, they only ran one Spectro due to the taping.

I was also wondering about this question for the following weekend. I do recall 2 years ago that the Xmas parade made everything run later.

At the time DD was madly afraid of fireworks so I made sure we didnt' get there until after the fireworks which was before the 2nd parade (there were actually 2 - 1 at 8 and 1 at 10). Turned out the mass exodus was from the 1st parade and they hadn't done the fireworks yet! YIPES for dd. We went on ITASW while they were going on so she didn't realize the booms were the fireworks!

But, there shouldn't' be any reason why they wouldn't have a 2nd parade on the 11th? If that's the only parade it will be mobbed. Guess we'll see.

Well, last year they were taping the parade the the 1st weekend in dec yet they still added the 2nd spectro , we know because we were there in the am and then went back that night. it was VERY crowded that evening, and the 2nd showing of spectro was definately a little bit less mobbed.

you got your wish they have added another showing of spectro just like last year it will be showing at 9:00 and 11:00 with the park now closing at midnight.
