What do you think the chances are that a DING will come out for Cmas holidays?

Hi All ~ I'm still lobbying my family for a Florida vacation from Dec 26-Jan 6. They aren't keen on driving. What do you think the chances are that a DING will come out for Cmas holidays? Blessings, Sandra

I got a great ding rate for Dec. 10th to the 17th last year.

I am not sure if there was one during the holidays but if you were leaving around the 22nd and staying through then you might get one.

IMHO, I don't think a DING fare for Dec 26 is too likely. My mom travelled BUF-TPA Dec 28 2005 and for a few months before hand I was watching DINGS for BUF-MCO or BUF-TPA for Dec 26- Dec 31 closely. One never appeared for Christmas week (unless I happen to miss it). Also, DH travelled MCO-BUF Dec 31 2005 and a DING never appeared for this date as well.

On the other hand MCO-BUF dinged Jan 6 2006 at least 3 or 4 times (we flew MCO-BUF Jan 7 on a $45 plus tax DING) , so if this upcoming Christmas season is anything like last year, you should have a great chance of getting a DING for Jan. 6.

I work in a school, so I follow their vacation calendar. Dec 26-Jan6 would be an awesome Florida trip! Still can't talk the family into it....but a DING sure would help! Blessings, Sandra
