What do you think of the two propane trucks stolen in San Antonio?

The FBI says it's concerned about the 2 propane trucks that were stolen this weekend and still missing. They say propane is wanted in Mexico and so it may have nothing to do with terrorists. But in addition there were 15 gas canisters stolen from an ambulance supply company there also. Five of the stolen canisters were empty, but others contained nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide and oxygen. They could be used as "improvised explosive devices" according to the article. It is so sad that terrorism has made us worry so but I have to admit this worries me. It's just not so easy to get across the Mexican border anymore, especially with trucks containing substances so if the trucks were headed there why haven't they been found? I'm sure someone can think of an answer but I'm perplexed what use anyone would have with those gas canisters too.

I try not to panic every time I hear a news story like this one. We will drive ourselves crazy with worry if we read into everything that goes on. I think 2 propane tankers would be fairly difficult to hide so hopefully the FBI will find them quickly.

Why don't they put tracking devices on those things, kinda like On Star? This way if they are stolen they can track their location, given todays climate I'm surprised they don't do this already.

Thanks Boosmom for the link. I'm glad that they found them but it says that it is still unclear if the propane is still in the trucks. I don't like to get paranoid, but with everything going on right now it makes you wonder. Oh and Boosmom...WHERE did you get that photo of E? I almost got the vapors! LOL. I love #8!!

I heard on the news last night but could not find an update.
I was watching a little closer because I work on I35 which also goes through San Antonio.
Glad it was found.
