We are going for one week to WDW with our family to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. There are 13 of us all together, ranging from 2 years old to 60. So excited!

These are our choices, what do you think?

Beirgarten for dinner
Big River Grille for dinner
Chef Mickey's for dinner (I've heard the reviews but the kids are desperate on this and even my Mom wants to do it despite the mediocre reviews of the food)
Boma for dinner
Asherkus for lunch (for 1/2 our party; the other half is going to Coral Reef)
Ohanas for dinner
Mama Melrose for Fantasmic dinner package
*a breakfast* but undecided where to go on our last day.

Looks good! If you're staying at BC/YC or the BW area, Cape May would be a good choice for your last day.

Those look like fantastic choices!

I've eaten at all except Mama Melrose's and Big River Brewing Company, and all of the others on your list are ones that I highly recommend. Biergarten is my family's very favorite restaurant in all of WDW, and Ohana is a close second. My DD5 loved the experience at Akershus even more than CRT, and I found the food to be amongst the better we had during our last trip. Boma is also delicious, and different than the run-of-the-mill WDW buffet, so a great break for you in the middle of the trip.

I understand what you mean about Chef Mickey's, but I agree that it's worth it for the experience.

While I've never eaten at Big River Brewing Company, we stayed right above it at the BW a few weeks ago and it sure smelled fantastic each night, and we're looking forward to trying it on a future trip.

As far as the last breakfast, I highly recommend Crystal Palace. It has very good food, fun characters, and you get to see the park before it's overrun with people.

Have a ton of fun! What a wonderful celebration for your entire family!

We have eaten at Big River many times and love it. So much fun to dine outside and people watch. We LOVE the beer cheese soup!

I second for a bkfst at Crystal Palace - one of our all time favorites!

I've not tried your restaurant choices...however... I do recommend the F! dining package... and I would recommend 'Ohana Breakfast for your final day...

Have a magical visit !

Mary

If you don't want to do a character breakfast on your last day, I would suggest breakfast at the Kona Cafe at the Poly.

I think you'll really enjoy Boma, and the Fantasmic package is great. We went to Brown Derby for the package but I've always wanted to try MM.

I'm so jealous that you're going to Ohana for dinner! :)

And I second the Kona-for-breakfast suggestion.

Hi autismgoesdisney,
I think your choices look great. They will all work well for the age ranges you have with you. Have a wonderful time and enjoy all of those great meals! :thumbsup2

Your plans look fun, especially for a big crowd. We really like Mama Melrose for Fantasmic package (have had slow service 2 out of 3 times, but food is great.)

I agree Crystal Palace last day for breakfast, if you can get there before park opens.

If you're not going to a park that last day, then Boma breakfast is fabulous (actually would rank it the best breakfast buffet on Disney property) No characters, but variety & quality of food is outstanding...and it's usually not too packed for breakfast.

If you're just wanting a nice sit-down breakfast, not buffet/not characters, then I second Kona Cafe...Big Kahuna platter is wonderful, and not that high a price (well, not high considering Disney, anyway.)
