Hello-

We just got back about a week ago from our trip and are now planning out yet another trip for May 2011. We are going with a family that has never been before, they have a DS9 and a DD7 along with our DD9 and DD7, making it 4 adults and 4 kids. Eventhough my 180 day window is not until 11/11, my DH and I took some time out last night to come up with a tentative plan for ADRs, of course we are also waiting for the May park hours to come out before actually deciding. Some specs of our trip include...we will be there from 5/10-5/17 staying at BLT, however, this may change to BCV and if that does our dates will change to 5/10-5/18 (long story short, we are DVC members who have a home resort at BLT but want to stay at BCV and can't call for availability until 10/11). We are also all on the DxDDP. So with that all out of the way, I was wondering if all of you would check out what our tentative ADR list would be and also please comment if you think it would be fun for the family who has never been before. This is a family who will probably only go to Disney once in there lifetime, so DH and I want to make it as magical as we can. Thanks for any input.

Day 1 - Arrival Day/MK
L- open to anything, probably CS
D - CRT about 5pm

Day 2 - Epcot Day
B - Akershus Breakfast about 8am
L - Open (I am planning on taking my girlfriend to the Garden Tea Room at GF and then do some resort hopping while the DHs stay at Epcot with the kids and play, then meet back up with them for dinner) about 2pm
D - Coral Reef about 6:30-7:00pm

Day 3 - Animal Kingdom
B - Boma's about 9:30-10:00am
L - Flame Tree for whatever time we get hungry
D - Yachtsman's Steakhouse about 7pm or maybe later depending on park hours

Day 4 - Open Day
B - O'hana's Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch about 9am
L - Whispering Canyon Cafe about 1:30-2pm (this one is indispensible, not sure if I am going to book it as of yet)
D - Narcoossee's about 6:30 to 7pm
* Would also like to try and fit in the Campfire at Fort Wilderness after dinner if it is possible.

Day 5 - Epcot Day
B - Open probably eat in our room
L - Le Cellier for around noonish
D - Garden Grill for around 6pm

Day 6 - DHS
B - Open probably eat in our room
L - Mama Melrose (in hopes to get the Fantasmic dining package) around 12:30pm
D - 50's Prime Time Cafe around 5:30pm

Day 7 - Magic Kingdom
B - Chef Mickey's around 8am
L - Any CS since the DHs are going to be playing a round of golf in the morning and then meet up with us before our dinner then hopefully head back to MK for the evening.
D - California Grill for around 5:30pm

Day 8 - Last Day/MK
B - Crystal Palace around 8am
L - Tony's Town Square around noon or 1pm

Like I said this is a tentative schedule which will more than likely be tweaked a bit between now and when we leave, especially if we are going to be able to add on one more day. I just wanted to get a starter list and then go from there. Thanks for all of your help.

IMO, Day 4 meals are a little bit too close together. I would schedule Narcoossees for Dinner on Day 8. This would be nice for watching fireworks on your last day. I would not eat at Tonys' for lunch. On day four, instead of lunch, you could schedule WCC for an early dinner before doing campfire sing along. However, if you do stay at BCV instead of BLT, It might be nice to have enjoy your Open day at Stormalong Bay. You could eat an early dinner at yatchman's and do the campfire and movie on the beach there. Moving yatchman's might give you a little more time in Animal Kingdom depending on park hours.
