Okay, I'm looking to my dis friends for advice. We are planning a super special birthday trip for our DD for her 8th birthday. We will be arriving on her actual birthday. We usually get an early flight in. Not sure yet where we are going to stay for sure. But we will be there the week of March 13-19 so anticipating larger crowds then we are used to. But that's okay.
What I need from my dis friends is this:
what do you think of my plan so far (see below) and any ideas for things to make the trip super special for DD.
Sun 3/13 arrive early, check in, relax at the resort then head over to MK for a BBB appt. around 3:00 and then dinner at CRT and then hang around for the fireworks and parade. This is her actual birthday so I'm hoping to set up a cake or something to come with dinner. Any suggestions?
Mon - CP 8:05 then MK til around lunchtime then back to the resort to hang out and relax. Dinner at 1900PF at 4:30 then over to HS for EMH but not too late. (she LOVES RRNC)
Tues - Tusker House 8:15am then AK til early afternoon or whenever we're done. Back to the resort to relax and then I'm hoping to get a pirates fireworks cruise for that evening.
Wed - this is always our down day. And we always do the same thing. So CM 10:15 then back to the resort for pool or nap time or shopping or whatever then HDDR at 7:15.
Thur - Epcot close to rope drop. It's not our favorite park and the only big things we care about are Soaring and they like MIssion Space. We usually spend more time then I would like in the aquarium but DH and DD like it. Then maybe spend the early afternoon slowly touring the world showcase before heading back to the resort. Dinner at 7:45 at CA Grill.
Fri.- HS at rope drop then lunch at 50's at 1:10. Hopefully we'll be done doing what we want here and can head back to the resort at this point. I was thinking Ohana for this night but then I thought it might be nice to plan something either in epcot or the boardwalk area (never been) and then head over to epcot and do the world showcase if we didn't do it the other day.
Sat. - Last day started with MK then resort then maye Ohana if not the night before and then back to the MK to end our trip.
Sorry this is so long, I just want this to be a great trip for DD's birthday. What do you think of our plans so far? Any suggestions for different dining?
