We are going to Disney for my mom's 60th birthday. We are a group of 13 people -- 7 adults and 6 kids. I made all the reservations and just tonight everyone has decided against Boma (we leave in 9 days so I'm in a bit of a pickle!).....Anyway, this is what we have...we are looking for one more dinner choice for the evening that we go to Animal Kingdom. AK closes at 6, and we are willing to take the bus to anywhere to go eat....This is what we got so far, we are looking for table service instead of a buffet and we are on the dining plan...

Beirgarten (dinner)
Cape May Cafe (dinner)
Chef Mickey (dinner)
Akershus (lunch)
Mama Melrose (late lunch)
Crystal Plaza (breakfast)

Any suggestions?

One of our favs is the 50's Prime Time Cafe. You may not be able to all sit at one table (really have no idea) but it is tons of fun. Especially fun for the older crowd who grew up during this era. :rotfl:

wow, getting something this close to your trip might be tough....I would go to on-line dining on the WDW website, put in your date and just pick something from what's available.
hope you can find something everyone can agree on, Good Luck!!

I know it is close! That is what I told my family today! I really wanted to try Boma, but I'd feel terrible if everyone hated it! So we booked Tusker House (for dinner) but I am not thrilled about that choice!

oh well, we'll see where we end up! Anyway, any suggestions on our ADRs as of now?

Any suggestions?

Sure, tell them they are on their own that night and go to Boma with whoever wishes to tag along with you.

It is so frustrating when people leave all the planning up to one person and then want to change things at the last minute because they have no clue of all the work put in to trip planning.

That is also why DW and I have been going solo for the last 6 years and just love it!!!

Have you thought about Ohana at the Polynesian? Always a favorite with our family, menu appeals to most tastes from my experience.

i think you could have done so much better. hope this helps.

I'd say Ohana but I'm sure that is impossible to get now for that size group.

We tried Boma last year at supper our first time & liked it. We didn't "love" it but was good & fun to try something different. I'd try & get them to go for it. Was a neat place & I enjoyed seeing AKL.

How did I miss Ohanas? We already are planning on going there one night for dinner. I did get a reservation for Raglan Road. Now trying to decide if that is where she would go!
