We are traveling down to Orlando for a week and plan to do MK for 1 day (very sad) while we are there. This time my parents are coming and my mom may not be able to keep up with us for the day. I worry that she will want to leave but we will want to stay. Anyone have an estimate on a cab to Sheraton Vistana Villages on I-drive. I didn't want to end up renting 2 cars, especially since we are flying into Tampa. I am not sure if the Sheraton has a shuttle. Thank you.

From the cab stand at the TTC to the Sheraton Vistana Villages lobby is approx 10.5 milies, that should put a cab fare at about $27-$29 plus tip.

According to the Starwood website the Sheraton Vistana Resort offers complimentary shuttle service to Walt Disney World. You'll have to check the schedule once you get there.

not sure Id put a senior standing out there waiting for a shuttle to come and take them back to a hotel..and most of the shuttles make multiple stops ...the time it takes to just get the taxi and pay the approx $32 to get door to door service would be worth it to me.....

Depends on the senor citizen. My 89 year old mother would do it no problem. I was just offering information the the OP did not know. The OP stated that they did not know if the resort offered a shuttle.

Thank you for the advise. I might have to price out a car for them. Something small just so she has the option to leave if she isn't feeling up to staying with us. Might be cheaper. I will have to look into Tampa vs renting closer to the resort.
