What do you think about wearing Flip flops to the parks???

I wouldn’t wear flip flops in the parks because they are not supportive enough for me. I need the arch support that a tennis shoe gives since I have a bad ankle and have orthotic arch supports in my tennis shoes. I have seen lots of people wearing them around the parks though, so if they are comfortable to you then go for it.

Well I can hardly tolerate wearing anything but flip flops. I hate the way the others feel on my heels. I did just get a pair of etnies because my husband said I looked like a moron at our local ski slopes and in mammoth when it was snowing and I was in flip flops LOL.
So yes I wear them in the park and nearly everywhere else.

I live in plain old flip-flops during the summer, but cannot wear them to Disney or really any place where I'm walking all day long. They're comfy for everyday errands and shopping, but not for theme parks!! Ouch!

I do have a pair of "sporty" thongs that I've worn to WDW and I absolutely love them. They have plenty of support and they allow my feet to breathe. (I hate wearing socks and tennis shoes in summer, too!) Mine are very similar to this:

I love mine that look like the old Dr. Scholls sandals with the wood sole and the single adjustable strap across the toe. These look the same, except the sole is foam that adjust to your foot. They are all I wear through the spring and fall. And all I ever wear at Disney. I get them at WalMart for about $4.00. They're great!

The only ride that I had a problem with was Soarin'. They let me keep them on in California, but I had to take them off in Florida.

Flip flops are the greatest invention ever! Seriously whoever invented them is a genius.

All I wear are flip flops in the park as well as not in the park. I have walked more miles in my flip flops then tennis shoes. Who wants wet socks?? My feet don't hurt one bit after I wore them in the park all day either! I love the target ones although the ones I bought forever ago they no longer have I hope I don't break them they are my favorite.

As long as you are used to wearing them all day and walking miles in them I see no problem with wearing them in the park. I always put my flip flops in the little basket in soarin' but I think that is the only ride I can think of that I need to do that!
