I think it adds some extra Disney magic to the globe. It makes it more than just a giant "golf ball" of some sorts. Lol.

I like Spaceship Earth better without it, but it has kind of grown on me. Still I think I would like to see it gone. There was something special about it up there without the extra decoration. I know I am in Epcot, you don't have to tell me once I am there!

Now if they would only get rid of the graveyard they put in front on it......

I love it. I like it much more at night, but it is great during the day also. I also liked the gold, including the mirror, on the castle.

I really dislike it, almost as much as I dislike the Sorceror Mickey hat in MGM - it obstructs the view of the theatre and totally ruins the "show"/atmosphere.

I like the hnad/wand. I liked it in 2000 better! Adds a little razzle Dazzle. I like gold shoes and handbags too...so.....I'm a flashy kind of girl

Not only do I like the wand, but I like Mickey's hat at MGM too!
(I know, I know..... BLASPHEMY! )

I didn't like either at first, but they have both grown on me and I
especially like them at night...plus I've got some great pictures with
them in the background.

I was even a leaning a little towards wishing they would leave the gold
decorations on the castle.........but now that I've thought about it
I'm glad they are taking them down.

I'm not a big fan of the whole hand/wand thing. I do like it better than the hat at MGM (UGH! Don't even get me started on that thing!). It looks better than when it was put up for the year 2000, I'll give it that.

So I voted for "I don't like it, but don't mind if it stays."

As for the MGM hat- I'd LOVE to see it go!

I love the wand because it reminds me of the big 2000 that used to be there! That was the first year we went!

So I've never seen the ball "nude".

I thought it was a little tacky at first, but it has grown on me.
When I see older pictures of Spaceship Earth it looks kind of plain without the hand.
I think it's a great icon. There are other castles, trees, and water towers elsewhere, but there's nothing quite like the big "golf ball" anywhere else. You see it and instantly think "Epcot".

I don't hate it. I'm kind of "eh" towards it. As far as the hat at Disney-MGM Studios, I love the look of it and think it's a better symbol of the Studios than the water tower, but I don't like where it's situated. I liked it better when you could see the theater.
