We stayed at Poly last June and Tuesday was a RD day for us a MK. I can tell you in the first 2 hours we knocked out all of FL and then some.

If you made plans months ago and paid a premium by staying at a monorail resort with the hopes of a little more time for sleeping/breakfast before hitting MK and they throw this junk into your equation, I'd demand some time with a manager.

I'd do it. It's only 2 of us, so that minimizes the overall cost. My son once rode 7DMT seven times in a row after a rain storm cleared out the park. He still talks about it. I'd love to give him the chance to do that again.

When do these go on sale?
The thing is if only 3 rides are open I would think they would have long waits ? Unless not very many tickets are sold for it.

I wonder if they will do a welcome show at 9 after the early magic people are already in the park?????

I am trying to rearrange my schedule to avoid these days, but the only thing that would work is a regular extra magic hours morning which is fine. We are on property. We just normally avoid those days as a rule.

I allowed my kids to each invite one friend this year. Neither of these kids have ever been, and I really wanted them to see the welcome show at magic kingdom. We are only doing one park day at magic kingdom and would have to give up our BOG lunch and crystal palace dinner reservation to shuffle everything.
I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to move my days around also. I would have to give up BOG dinner, which I dont want to do. If we switched I would have to do AK on a EMH morning, which I don't want to do :crazy2: I have 2 days for MK and both are set for the days they are doing the morning event. I thought maybe I would just change one day and keep the other. I dont know for sure what to do.

Well, I HAD a BOG prepark ADR for May 7th. So I felt like I kinda have to book it. Tried changing my ADR with no luck. THis just sucks.
I have tried searching for our dining reservation for BOG to change days and there is none on several days I tried.

Keep trying BOG. This event finally opening up will probably force other people to start switching around their morning plans and ADRs.

I would consider it if I weren't on the DxDP and already have all my meals planned & covered. I would definitely prefer this "event" over a pre-park ADR at BOG, if I weren't on a dining plan.

I don't know if this has been said but i find this obscene. Picking the pockets of young families who would feel this is a necessity for a magical vacation. It does damage to Disney's brand IMHO, which is something that can not be easliy fixed. I just think there such small value in doing this that it will leave a guest with really bad feeling towards Disney as a valuable experience. I have to wonder if disney even involves their brand management when they make these decisions.

NO value here at all.

Disney DOES do events where there is value;example Harambe Nights-would do it again if offered-incredible event.

But this event and the new night event are embarrassing for Disney IMHO.

it's not worth it for those of us who have been there dozens of times. Though considering you get a breakfast involved, the price is much more palatable then the night event.

It is probably worth it for:
1) Offsite guests who want the EMH perk
2) NEW guests (with money to burn) who think it will be a fun way to start the day.

This is basically just a test and just making official what people have been doing since they offered BOG breakfast.

You'll see this for EVERY part of EVERY park soon if this is even remotely successful.
Once Frozen Ever After opens .. I bet they will do something like this for a few rides in Epcot too with a breakfast included.
Imagine how many people will sign up for this for Pandora, Star Wars Land or Toy Story Land?

The thing I wonder about is what about those people who have early morning breakfast reservations on the day of this "event" .. do they just not get to go on those rides? Are they forced to wait until 9:00 AM to get on a ride? I mean half the reason most people get the BOG breakfast is so they can hop on 7 Dwarves before the park officially opens, right?

My "GUESS" is no early rides for BOG Guests on SDMT on Early Morning Magic days,BUT that they will be allowed on SDMT just ahead of the Maingate line.

If people feel this is a necessity then they'd be willing to pay for it. If they aren't then its not a necessity considering you can get into the park with a pre opening ADR or stay onsite and use morning EMH or just make sure you are early in line at RD. There is nothing obscene about offering something to someone who has a choice to get it or not, and as another poster said, just because you don't find value in it doesn't mean there isn't value in it for someone else.

I'm upset because I have CP booked for 8AM on April 30th. We are taking a very quick surprise trip for my DD and this is a favorite breakfast. I'm considering booking this stupid pre park BS and waiting to read reviews for the 4/26 date to see how it goes and decide to cancel or keep...

Is it though? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the evening event includes admission to the park - so $149 for 7 pm - 1-2 am. This morning event is $69 (corrected) PLUS your regular admission, which, if it's only a 2 or 3 day ticket, is pretty expensive.

The easiest way to handle pre-park opening ADRs on party mornings would be to send them to the standby line for those 3 rides and allow people with the party sticker through the Fastpass line.
