Hello,
We will be at the S/D for 10 days at the end of this month and I'm looking at some of the restaurants onsite like Bluezoo and Il Mulino. I would really appreciate some feedback about these spots. I already have a reservation at Shulas for me and dh's anniversary. I love how they offer 2 frree hours at their kids club when you book at the sig restaurants.
Since we will be at the Dolphin for 10 nights it seems like a nice time to try some new spots (we have been to WDW a few times before so we know about the other spots in the parks too).
Thanks!

I love BlueZoo!

I have eatten there several times and each time the dish chosen has been out of this world. Dinner here is an experience. In no way have I ever felt rushed to finish the meal so they could get the next table seated. The wait staff is friendly and very knowledgable about the dishes as well as wine. The fish has always been fresh and melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. The chef knows his stuff!

The decor of the place is a cut above as well. ( Think under the sea )

I've enjoyed eatten at Todd English's BlueZoo so much that I have tried his other venues and I am truly a big fan of anything he does!

Well I can tell you that Shula's was probably the best meal we have ever had and that I am excitedly trying Blue Zoo on our next trip.

Blue Zoo and Il Mulino are two of our top restaurants on property. Always excellent food and service. Both have wonderful wine lists.

Shula's for us was not good, although the service was excellent. Others we know said it depends on the night for shula's so I hope you get lucky with a good night.

We love Garden Grove for breakfast.

Pool bar has some nice apps, and lots of fun especially during football season.

We ate at both last visit and enjoyed them. I thought Il Mulino was a bit noisy and the crowd seemed more convention than vacation, but the service and food were very good. Delish rice balls as an appetizer and the pasta was good. Blue Zoo had good food, although we found our dishes to be a tad salty. Our server was great, but the hostesses were not very welcoming and tried to sit us in an aisle off the entry to the kitchen, uh, no thanks.

Just a quick tip......Restaurant.com has $25 gift cert. for $3 if you use the discount code FATHER at checkout....for Shula's, Bluezoo and Mulinos (sp?).

Thank you so much for the feedback! And yes, I did go to restaurant.com!

We do Il Mulino EVERY trip. We're going this trip, too! :goodvibes

YAY I did that too!!! THANKS! :cool1::thumbsup2

For casual dining, consider the Dolphin Cabana Bar. Had a late lunch there in December, and really enjoyed the salads and sandwiches.

We have ADR's to try Bluezoo annd Il Mulino for the first time, when we return late Oct. for F&W.

BlueZoo is one of our favorites - we eat there every trip since it opened. We havre only been to Il Mulino a couple times, both times in the lounge for drinks & pizza/apps. Both times were excellent. We have not yet made it to Shulas.

Definately go to the Cabana Bar & Grill! It is a Must-Do for us. Just about every afternoon, if possible.

2 of my favorite restaurants are located in the Swan/Dolphin. Shula's in the Dolphin Hotel is awesome and Kimono's in the Swan Hotel has great Sushi.:cool1::banana:
