What do you suggest for getting to Universal?

Hate to admit it, but this trip, we are going to Universal for one day. (gasp!)
What would you all suggest for getting there, based on experience?
Uber / taxi, etc.

Mears shuttle, taxi, uber, rental car (that's my choice).

But, I'll try to address it here too.
It depends on how many are in your group. Mears charges about $25 pp. A car service will run about $85, for four people. A cab will be similar. Uber will be less.

I prefer the rental car too, but Universal will charge you to park so that's an extra cost to consider.

Uber. If you only need a standard car and can use base Uber it will save you a ton. Our Cab the first day there was minimal traffic was 40 plus tip. Uber on the return with minimal traffic was 15.

We used Uber XL on days we had groups bigger than 3 or 4 and it was the cost of the regular Taxi. Not sure if the van taxis cost more per a person on trips like that. Uber XL was also more enjoyable as I didn't need a step stool to get in and out of the SUV like you do for the taxi vans.

Same fare for taxi sedans and taxi vans. Number of passengers makes no difference.

We used Uber for our family of four. Loved it! Super convenient, really easy, low cost compared to other options.
