We run neck-and-neck with movies and tv shows. We enjoy watching a lot of the older stuff like The Jeffersons and Magnum P.I. :) :) :)

ETA: It seems like a couple times a month I always pick something wierd and freaky to watch alone (things I can watch during the day and not subject my husband to). I like movies like "Seven" and "Frailty" and Scott really doesn't get into them. My latest one was AWFUL!!! It was "The Manson Family." *shudder* I was praying the Lord wouldn't come back while I was watching this.

I like movies about true crime and whatnot so don't think me a freak for watching something about Manson.

I'm one of those guilty of voting other, but that's because none was not an option and I wanted to see the poll results each time I clicked the thread.

I can rent movies for $1.88 a day at our local Bookstore, so that's pretty hard to beat anywhere else. It's hard competing with all the online companies today, so local stores are forced to lower costs. I'm sure they don't have the selection though.

It's nice to rent older movies for $0.99 too.

I also have about 300 channels (plus tons of audio channels that don't count), so we watch a lot on the premium channels too, but you do have to wait for some.

Can anyone tell me what the deal is with Netflix?

I love true crime too, what was the movie called about The Manson Family? I'm guessing it wasn't Helter Skeltor? I'd be interested in checking it out.

Edit: After reading your post a 2nd time, it looks like the movie might be called "The Manson Family," is that right?

Are you talking about why is it popular or how much it is??

I was asking how much it was if you were asking me.

Thanks!

It isn't Helter Skelter. I saw that one too. But this one was entitled "The Manson Family." Here is a link to it:http://imdb.com/title/tt0118840/

When it says "Rated R for strong grisly violence, strong sexual content/nudity, language and drug use," they are grossy underexaggerating.

Thank you both for your responses.

I'm going to check this Manson movie out.
