another post (wine glass hunting) got me thinking. As my first and last for a while trip to WDW, i am curious about what things you wish you had got while the chance. I am big on Disney souvenirs but want to be thrify as possible.

I wish I would have purchased a hand drawn Jack Skellington print from the Disney Villians store at Disney Studios. I called to purchase one, once I returned my trip, but they no longer had them and were not going to be available again. Oh well. You live and you learn.

I really wish I would've bought one of those large photo frames - they fit several photos and say "Our Disney Vacation" across the top. I'm going to make sure to get one on our next trip, and just have it shipped home. :thumbsup2

I'm mad that I did not get a license plate frame when they had them about 2 years ago. If someone here has seen them lately please let me know.

I wish I had gotten a 2006 snowglobe. I decided I'd like to start collecting one from each year, & I didn't get that one. Oh well, I have 2005.

A set of rice bowls with chopsticks in Japan. I've complained about that everytime I serve stirfry. Going for them on my next trip for sure.:hippie:

A couple of years ago we purchased a DVC timeshare with the Wilderness Lodge as our Home. They were building the Beach Club Villas and I was really, really sorry I didn't hold out for them...

Until a couple of years later when we stayed in the Beach Club Villas. The Wilderness Lodge Villas turned out to be better for our family. But for two solid years I was kicking myself for my impatience.

Does that count?

A Disney Cookbook for my cookbook collection...
A Polynesian Christmas ornament from my last trip...

Fortunately, we will be back soon!
I have to make a shopping list...

Thanks for this thread! It inspired me to get my thoughts organized!:surfweb:

I got this idea from another tread but I wished I had bought a magnet for every Disney resort we have stayed in. This is a cheap souviener for those of us that are repeat visits. Just started doing this on our last trip.

Stepping stones. Where the discount merchandise store is in DTD used to be a garden-themed store. We only bought one, lugged it home in our suitcase, should've took them up on their offer to send as many as we want home for a set shipping charge which was reasonable. The land in Epcot had them too. On our next visit in '02 were told they were discontinued. If we knew about Belz then we would've checked there.

I LOVE that idea!! I'm going to write that in my Passporter so I can be sure to remember on our next trip!

what do these look like? Where did you purchase them? i think this would be neat. thanks for all the ideas

Production cells, back when they were relatively inexpensive. I couldn't justify the expenditure at the time, or so I thought, but I still regret it.

I so badly wanted to get a model monorail to go around my christmas tree when we were there in July. I looked at them in every store we went in. I actually had one up but put it back. My tree looked so bare without a monorail to go around it. You bet I will get one this year!!!

they have the cutest mickey purses for women in the Epcot shops... I think it was only around 35.00 I really want one.

A Disney Cookbook for my cookbook collection...

Defintely this item, as well as a few other Disney-related kitchen items.

But my biggest regret? A turkey leg! I have always wanted to try one just to know what the big deal is!

My only regret was I wish I had bought my DS who was turning 5 one of those icon play sets- I think that he would have loved it -but he has never asked for it but I still know he would have played with it. Maybe in May!:)

The Wilderness Lodge Lincoln Log set.......I bought regular Lincoln Logs for my DD5 this xmas and she loves them. Next trip for sure!
