what do you pull your travel trailer with? are you happy with it?

That's a nice ride. That looks like one of those Choo Choo Customs aftermarket packages. None the less a powerhouse enough for your needs lol.

yeah, just alittle overkill for the Kiwi...:rotfl2:
but one day we'll probably upgrade to something bigger / heavier

Good observation on the customizing...I wondered why I couldn't find anything like that on the GMC page. I even tried to "build" one online but there weren't any seats like the ones this truck has. Another thing I found odd is the Regency package wasn't an option. So, you are probably on the right track with the aftermarket idea. I can't wait to go pick it up...:drive: I wonder if he'll let me drive

Nice! Now your going to want to "trade up" and get a bigger trailer next! ;)

That looks like ours only without the Regency Pkg, which is nice, you wont be disappointed, only I get get a extended warranty with a used vehicle. My understanding is when you register you will pay taxes in your state.

I've never owned a SUBURBAN that I absolutely did'nt love:thumbsup2:banana:
Chevrolet?Gmc doesn't matter. They are the same vehicle made in the same plant.
I've owned 5 since 1986. 3 - 2500 sereies 2WD and 2 - 1500 series 2WD. All with gasoline engines(can't stand the deisel noise:mad: )All kinds of engine combinations.
I'VE DRIVEN EACH OF THEM PAST 300,000 MILES , AND THEN SOLD THEM TO HAPPY BUYERS WHO CONTINUED GETTING GREAT USE FROM THEM(one guy was so happy with my 1986 with 340,000miles on it that he bought my 1993 with 305,000miles on it several years later and is still using it.)
70% of their mileage use involves towing of some sort. 2 of them tow a 6000# work trailer 6 days a week/9 mos./yr.
And if status is your thing, nothing shows off better than a GMC YUKON DENALI XL sitting in your driveway . I buy them because nothing tows with more comfort and stability and confidence than these vehicles.
Good luck in your purchase,
Mike

I finally found my perfect tow rig. Had a dually and went to order a new one but got this instead.

We pull our 36' fifth wheel with a 1999 F-350 diesel dually. It has well over 175,000 miles on it but it still does the job with NO worries. I would love to have the NEW super duty, but you couldn't pay me to pick up those payments again...That new Ford super is sharp!!
