We still have 71 days, but I'm pumped already and it's almost getting overwhelming (too many days to wait!) I'm really depending on school
to keep me busy and pass the time-although it actually can get a bit annoying with standardized testing just around the corner-and I really just want May to get here already!
I've decided that the best way to keep myself
satisfied is to prepare myself is scrapbook-because I'm super behind with all our Disney trips-watching Disney movies, etc. Especially with my spring break coming up in a few weeks, I want to be ready to keep myself busy with Disney things so I can keep from going insane out of the excitement. Does anyone else on here ever get this feeling? And what do you do to get yourself excited for a trip this far ahead? We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside for our second time, if there is something I could do with that.

Planning our trip out along with the help of my mom usually helps me because it takes a lot of time for me to plan. There's so much to miss if you're not careful! It also takes me a while to do this: I go to Home Depot and get Mickey head shaped paint chips. Then I write the number on each of them, leading up to how many more days it will be until we actually go. That always gets me in the spirit! I'm not sure if this would apply to you, but I do a lot of art, so I do a lot of sketching of the castle and court yards.
I don't know if these things would have the same effect on you, but they always help me get super excited for my trips, so I hope it helps you! Port Orleans Riverside is also a really great choice to stay at! My family always goes there. It's my favorite. I hope you have a great trip! :goodvibes

Go the the Trip Reports board and read those! That always get's me in the mood or watch walk throughs of the magic kingdom on youtube :thumbsup2

Spend WAY to much time watching Disney parks videos on Youtube. I espically like Disney College Program series and Travel Vlogs. :happytv: And of course the DISboards!:earsboy:

What gets me excited is when I pull out the suitcase and start planning what I'm going to bring with. Soon as that suitcase comes out it starts to set in that I'm actually going:cool1:

I like to watch videos with tips, look at my beautiful Disney collectibles, read lots of stories from Disney forums, and make an overview of the days I'll have to wait, so I can stripe off one number each day! (it says 75 days today, so I'm pumped!)

Usually I hang out here on the Disboards :thumbsup2
I watch ride POVS and the nighttime shows/fireworks on youtube
I read trip reports, and I have to read old disney guides from 2003!
lol, and I bug my friends, that's pretty fun to do :upsidedow

I usually feel so much excitement that I can barely contain it. :hyper: So I usually keep myself busy by reading trip reports and watching Disney movies. :cool1: It usually just makes me even more excited though, haha. :rotfl:

What I usually do (well, actually started doing) is going on this site and do what my mom likes to call "Disney Dreaming." :rotfl2: I also go on other sites and look at pictures and read stuff. I'm even going to borrow my mom's friend's book for disney. :thumbsup2

i have 35 days until my trip and i literally can't wait. For the past month I've been constantly watching disney related videos on youtube (ie: disney wedding proposals and kids reactions to surprise trips) and im always shopping online for new clothes. Ive also been staring at pictures of the polynesian as if it will some how transport me there.
I thought I would never say this but thank god for school because its the only that keeps me distracted during the day.

My family and i make a chain and on each chain has a disney character and the amount of days left and everyday we take turns removing the chains to reveal how many days are left. We used to start ares at sometimes 165 days!

Take pictures off websites of the resort you're staying at and of your favorite rides and characters, make them into a slideshow, and set this as your computer's screensaver! Whenever you sit down it takes you back to the happiest place on earth :woohoo:
