What do you like at Aldi?

I like Aldi's too! These are my favorite things:
Veggie Chips
Walnuts, Pecans & Almonds
Canned Pumpkin
All Baking Supplies
Frozen talapia, salmon & shrimp

The only thing I won't buy there is milk.

Thanks for all the replies! Has anyone tried the pasta sauce? I get mine at Trader Joe's, but I'm trying to shop at less places every month, so the more I can get at Aldi, the better!

I forgot about these things we like:

frozen asparagus (really wonderful on the grill!)
individual water bottle packets (like Crystal Light)

I tried their sauce and I like it. I actually like it better than Wegman's brand (our local area grocery store).

Just had a great ALDI dinner last night for less than $8 total!

Frozen stuffed shells-4 cheese (2 bags @ $1.99 each)
Premium chunky marinara sauce ($1.79)
Steam in bag broccoli cuts ($1.09?)

Everyone's plates were scraped clean, so I think I found a winner! :goodvibes

I really like almost everything at Aldi, my favorites are the baked chips and light string cheese.

I'll just list the things we have found we DON'T care for:

Paper towels
Toilet paper
Bread
Deli meat
Hot dogs
Mac & Cheese

What a great threat! We just started shopping there a few months ago - I became a SAHM last year and after watching sales and still feeling like we could cut back on our groceries, we started shopping at Aldi's. I'll admit, I was a lot leery about shopping there because I like my food to taste good and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, it certainly didn't hurt to try new things.

We've had great luck with all their produce and scored some Tyson Steak Fingers that DH and DS loved.
Peanut Butter has been good
Veggie chips were surprisingly good
Cheese
Yogurt
Stuffing mix wasn't too bad
Cream of ___ soup mixed in well with our casseroles
Cereal: Choco Peanut Butter Spheres and Fruit Loops kinds (although the Fruity one seems to have a lot of dye that make other aspects of life interesting...:lmao:)
Bread; white and wheat as well as hamburger buns. It also freezes well.
Fruit Snacks seem to go over well with DS
Pop - the grape soda is not too bad and DH is okay with the cola as well

So far I have not enjoyed the potato chips (I'm really picky about those anyway) or the frozen pizza, although we did not take time to doctor them up.

Glad to see some reviews so I can be more adventurous while shopping there and stretching our grocery dollars!! I've been a bit nervous about trying their meat as I'm picky about that too.

I was just there this morning, bananas were $.25 a pound. You have to like them at least yellow, if not spotted. I looked through them and found some that have a few days shelf life.:thumbsup2 I  my Aldi, because I never know what I'm going to find marked down. The Aldi by my sister's house doesn't seem to mark product down to move it out. Today, I purchased vegetable ritz type crackers for $.99. They had the wheat ones marked down, too. I like the produce deals, but I do look at the condition of it first. I also, bought a bag of carrots, a pineapple, strawberries, kiwi ($.69 for seven), pancake syrup, a 22oz bag of tortilla chicken nuggets and two 6oz. yogurts. Total cost $9.40. I won't buy chips anywhere else. I'm not paying $4.00 a bag, when I can get the here at $.99-$1.19 a bag. I haven't purchased any of the fresh packed meat. That makes me a little hesitant, I don't know why?
