What do you eat in Hollywood Land?

As far as I know, Hollywood Land only has hot dogs, popcorn and smoothies. I am getting a food voucher for select places in Hollywood Land for the GOTG preview. To me, none of that stuff is really food. I am considering getting there early and having dinner somewhere else, but wanted to check here and see if anyone knows of any other food in Hollywood Land. I don't eat popcorn or hot dogs. I do enjoy smoothies once in a while, but that won't cut it for a meal for me.

Ha ha. You are right that Hollywood Land offers little in the way of food. There's always the possibility that they plan to offer a special food cart or stand for the event. Award Wieners is really the only place that sells meals, and they do offer some sort of vegetarian alternative, not that that would necessarily make you (or me) more interested in eating there. Aside from what you mentioned, there's Studio Catering and the Fairfax Fruit Stand. Studio Catering is where they sell the orange creme and cherry coke slushie drinks and some sort of tater tot thing I haven't tried. I'm not even sure there is popcorn in Hollywood Land; that might technically still be on Buena Vista Street. So I do agree about the lack of value of a food voucher for Hollywood Land.

Based on the description ("Taste new Summer of Heroes menu items"), I'm inclined to say they'll be adding new things to the menu at Award Weiners (they often have some promotional menu items there). It's usually some new hot dog or sausage, but maybe they're going to add multiple new items to the menu and hopefully something will sound appealing to you.

I tried to access the menu for Award Weiners and got the "someone at the page" error a couple times. I'll try again closer to the event. For now, I scheduled Carthay Circle, but may end up cancelling that and going with Smokejumpers Grill just to save some time.

wdwinfo.com has a menu from February:

For the most part, it's what I recall seeing a few weeks ago (other than there is usually some "limited time" offering the coincides with whatever promotion they're doing). This is where they had the special menu items for the closing of Tower of Terror, along with themed items for whatever the latest movie they're promoting.

Seems like Hollywoodland is where DD normally gets her turkey leg and I always get a frozen lemonade.
