What do you do with your valuables when you go on the rides? We're leaving in just 6 days :woohoo: with our 3 kids, ages 4 thru 9. I had planned on bringing a back pack for our cash, camera, wallets, etc. and also putting in a change of clothes and maybe a water bottle or 2. But then I thought that would be a BIG back pack to lug onto the rides.

What does everyone else do with all their stuff? Two back packs? And no, even though I did consider it for a millisecond, I am not a fanny pack person. Can't do it.

Bring your backpack....and then put a small bag inside to hold your valuables. When you go on a ride, just grab the little bag out and go.

Use a small backpack if you feel you need to bring clothes. If you want, you can get a locker just inside the parks to put this in, but then if you need anything you have to walk all the way back. So I would just carry it.

Have everyone carry their own water (you can buy a bottle strap at most of vendors that sell sodas). So you don't have to fit that in the pack.

Forget wallets - they take up too much room. Get a very small zippered change purse type thing. Put in id/license, room keys, cc, money. You can get small purses that you can wear across your body, rather than on your shoulder. Fit your change purse, tissues, sunscreen. These are easy to wear on the rides. Same with the camera...if it is in a case, it is easy to wear on your shoulder or belt loop on the rides.

(I would never dream of wearing fanny pack anywhere...but finally did break down and wear a small one at wdw. It does make things a lot easier, lots of other people are wearing them there, and they're all strangers....so no one will even notice!)

There are all kinds of security pouches that you can wear on various parts of your body (belts, socks, hang from neck etc) Those are good for $ and passes. Camera would go in with me. We've never ever taken a change of clothes to the parks but if we did, I'd use a locker up front. (just don't forget them at the end of the day!) Wouldn't take any other valuables into the park. It's all about traveling light!

We're traveling with a 18 month old this year- diapers/wipes will go in a stroller pocket. Our stroller has a lot of pocket space so we will also bring snacks for DS. We will buy milk as he needs it at the parks. No plans on bringing more clothes for DS each day.

We carry one backpack and carry it with us on all the rides. The only thing I leave in the stroller are diapers, and wipees and one time Pal Mickey...by accident... :sad2: Luckily, he was still there when we returned!
