What do you do with wet swimsuits/beach towels in your hotel room?

The value resort towels don't cover much of my bulbous midsection.

:rotfl2: You can tell we are from the same place (Buffalo), the moderate resort towels don't cover much of my bulbous midsection either. Perhaps it's from too many tasty chicken wings! :rotfl2:

CBR has towels for you to use at the pools.

One suggestion with the clothes line above the bath-put your swimsuits on the line before you bring the line across and attach to the other side of the wall. That way you are "stringing" through your clothes, they will hang freely and dry quicker.

I always find that the hangars have clips on them. I either hang them in the 'open value closet' in the bathroom area or over the tub depending on wetness.

When you are done swimming, bring an extra towel back to the room. Once you are out of your suit, wrap it up in the towel and squeeze. It will get some more of that extra water out and it will dry faster. :laundy:

Not being smart, but I don't understand the conundrum. Do swim suits need to be completely dry when they're just going to get wet in the pool? Toss em over the shower rod or clothesline above tub and be a little uncomfortable while walking to the pool if they're damp. And it never occurred to me to bring towels to a hotel when they have them there. I understand the values don't have the towels available at the pool, but how difficult is it to bring them from your room and ask mousekeeping to deliver new ones for bathing? This vacationing thing is getting too complicated.

I usually rinse them really well in the shower and then bring them over to the laundry facilities for a quick run through the dryer. I can't stand wet/damp/smelly swimsuits and towels.

I use the clothes line above the tub for swimsuits. If the swimsuits aren't dripping wet, I just hang them on door or furniture knobs. We use the pool towels so we typically put those in the dirty towel bin by the pool. If we happen to bring one back to the room, we end up either just using it as a floor mat or taking it out to the pool later.

:thumbsup2 This!

Most of the resort bathrooms have a clothesline in the shower, so I either hang them up there or on the balcony (only thing I use it for). We usually go in August, so I bring two suits for each person - they never seem to dry in August, and putting on a wet suit can be... well... challenging. ;)

Same goes here! And yes, putting on the wet swimsuit...:scared1:...
