From reading dining reports, it seems like a lot of people share meals because it is so much food. So what do you use your leftover points for?

More meals! Let's say you have two adults and you're staying for 5 nights on the regular DDP. That's a total of 10 TS meals. So, if you don't share, you only get 5 meals (no 2 credit meals in this scenario). If you share at ALL of your meals, you get 10 TS meals. Just remember, if you go to a buffet or family style all you can eat, you can't share. It will "cost" you both a TS credit.

OR if you want to do a signature meal (need 2TS credits per person), you could share that meal (perhaps get an app OOP) and then you would still have 4 more TS credits pp to use during your stay.

Does that make sense?

We had ten snack credits and just went to the candy store/bakery the last day and loaded up for the drive home. You can get meals to go as well.

We use our last CS credits for food for our plane trip home. We also bring home snacks.

When using the standard DDP we will use our additional TS credits (saved when we shared) for Signature meals or just more regular meals. Works for us.:goodvibes

how are restaurants with sharing adult meals on the DDP (using TS credits)? I have heard that some places have a policy and will not allow sharing of meals

Most restaurants allow sharing of meals between guests who are on the same dining plan.

Obviously this is not allowed at fixed-price restaurants where guests pay per person instead of per item ordered - buffets, family style restaurants, CRT, Akershus, dinner shows.

The one restaurant that is extremely strict about sharing is Via Napoli. They do not allow sharing between dining plan guests at all.
