you have jumped to the wrong conclusions, putting both feet into your mouth and find out later you were totally wrong?
How do you make up for something like that? Saying "I'm sorry", doesn't seem enough.

Depending on who it was, maybe a card and a personal apology. I have been there especially with my friends where I feel safe saying what I feel and then going overboard with my opinions. Of course we are all big cryers so we usually end up crying and apologizing all at once.

Good luck Lauri!

It depends on who it is and what was done or said. (I'm not asking for detail, I'm just stating that, it really does depend. :) ) Sometimes that's all you can do, sometime you can send one of those little "I'm sorry" cards, maybe a little flower boquet that you present to the person yourself etc. It just depends on who, what and the people involved.
