what do you do before you cruise? diet, hair color, etc.

I've been in training for the cruise. I've eaten large meals, followed by delicious deserts, and have laid around the house quite a bit, napping and waiting to be served.

I'm ready for the cruise!

OK I will congratulate you CMRAMAN despite your gender. It is easier to lose the heavier you are which is why it's taking me so long to get away from the 60# mark. My goal is only 24# away per WW my personal goal is another 40 # away.

At least you are a lot healthier and staying away from all that fat at McD.

I wonder how much we have lost collectively to get ready for the cruise?

Fellow WW here. Lost 70 lbs in 8 months and have been on maintence since May. Went on 4 day cruise in June and 7 days at WDW. Pretty much ate what I wanted (love those chocolate chip cookies on cruise and Main Street Bakery). Walked 2-3 miles each day on cruise around deck 4. Walk depended on the amount of food I ate the day before. At WDW, stayed at CBR and did the walk around the lake each AM, plus all the walking you normally do at WDW. My goal was to maintain my weight, which I did. Came back the same weight as when I left for vacation.

I like WW because you can eat anything that you want. I have always found it easier to lose the weight, the harder part to me is keeping it off. I have had so many positive comments from coworkers and friends, that I am really trying hard to keep it all off. Plus have an entire new wardrobe and for the first time in years I love to shop.

I try to walk 2-3 miles each day, or if I don't do that I use the Walk Away the Pounds video which is great.

Going on next cruise on 9/28/02-- so will be getting haircut and manicure before going.
