What do you use as a wallet in Disney to keep your credit cards/gift cards/cash/ticket/fast pass in?

Well, instead of carrying my wallet in my bag, one year I decided to use a pencil case. It was a tinkerbell pencil case that was clear. It was great since it was clear, I could easily see inside of it and easy to get something out quickly. That pencil case ripped and I have bought a new one since then.

I dont know why, it just seems easier to carry that around.

I have my new one for our next trip!!

I have a great Timbuk2 flip clip wallet, it is not super large, the size of a deck of cards, but has slots for all my cards. It also has a money clip in it and has a pocket behind the cards where I keep my tickets and reciepts. There is a bungee cord that goes around it i am not worried about things falling out. They also have one that is bigger that is specificlly designed for travel. Another reason I like Timbuk2 is there stuff is really durable.

I like this because I can carry it in my pocket and it isn't super bulky.

This is a good picture of it.

I usually put my money and any credit cards (usually only one for safety purposes) in this small zip change purse I have (about 2" x 3" in size) and then throw that inside my compact purse. Although, I have to admit I like the idea (4 Dzny Nutz) of a clear one to see things in it a little easier.

As for the tickets...DH and I have lanyards we use for the NASCAR races we go to (they are clear), so I will probably use that for our tickets and fastpasses...and they also will fit inside my compact purse that I carry.

I use a Mickey Mouse fanny pack that my daughter in-law got me several years ago. I can put money, traveler cheques, tickets, pen, and digital camera in the pack and then zipper it closed. I wear the pack facing forward. The tickets are in a plastic sleeve, tied to a lanyard that is tied to the inside of the fanny packed, and kept inside the fanny pack until needed. Everything is readily available in a compact location. :cool1:

Cash goes in my pocket. Credit card and ID go in my wallet, in a button-down pocket.

Park pass, hotel key, PhotoPass card, and FastPass slips go in a neck lanyard like this:

I actually have a slightly better version that I've been using for years, but the WalMart version works well. It keeps everything safe, flat, dry, and convenient all day.

I have a fabric wallet with a zipper closure that I bought in the China pavillion at Epcot. It measures about 3.5" by 4.5" and is just big enough to hold my driver's license, park pass, credit card and a little cash for Mickey bars! It has a flap that folds over the zipper and snaps down. If I am concerned that the wallet might slip out of my shorts pocket, I use an old-fashioned diaper pin (with the covered head) to pin this flap to the inside of my pocket. Hey! I just noticed how ragged it's getting- guess it's time to head for WDW to replace it!!

I keep my lgmh, AP, DDE card, photopass card, and any FP in this:

Got it at MouseGear for $5, it is retractable.

I have a Passporter pouch that hangs around your neck. It has clear plastic on the front, a pocket on the front and a zippered pocket for cc's, money, etc.

I have one of those, too. The pouch is first-rate, heavy-duty vinyl with a ziploc style closure that is waterproof but not hard to open.

The mouse-ear reel seems to be pretty good quality, too; the cord isn't fraying like the cheap WalMart ID reels do and it is holding its tension.

The metal aligator clip, however, fell apart on me after a few weeks of daily use carrying my work ID, and I couldn't get it back together.

The pouch will work with any lanyard or reel, however, so it's still a good purchase.

WillCAD, what dept in walmart did you find that neck wallet thing? I want to pick one up this weekend :) Love all these ideas.

They're in the jewelry department on the same rack as wallet windows and checkbook accessories.

excellent thanks so much ! You saved me shipping and handling as I was going to order some online:)

DH keeps all AP's, his resort card, ID and a CC in the waterproof cases they sell at the resorts for the pool. He loops it around his belt loop and then keeps it in his pocket. No need to worry about it falling out during a ride or getting wet on Kali.

I use a lanyard thing similar to the one from Walmart, only it isn't clear, it is black. I purchased it years ago at Kennedy Space Center.

I carry ID, AP, Room Key and an extra credit card (sometimes the resort charge computers go down), and about $5 cash.

I lock my wallet, with the rest of what I normally carry, in the room safe.

UPDATE: I went to WalMart today and found that my WalMart has moved all the men's wallets, accessories, ID reels and lanyards have been moved to the menswear section, near the belts. I don't know if this has been done in all WalMarts, but it's worth noting.

I don't like wearing things like lanyards around my neck - that would drive me crazy (I don't even like to wear necklaces!). I usually put my park pass and money in a small wallet, and use a small across-the-body crochet purse (along with lip gloss, small digital camera, and other small things).

I have worn fanny packs in the past but don't like the look of them (I have "tummy issues" and don't need to add bulk in that area!). The small purses are great because they can be worn across the body and you don't notice them at all.
