DisTwix -- where's your autograph book??? I made the mistake of printing off the first page of the thread to have your list and it took 10 pages!
Yesterday I went through my box of stuff from previous WDW trips and found this list:
To take to Parks:
Cell phone
Tickets (of course should be first on the list)
Mini-fan/misters (have given up on the fan part -- too heavy with the batteries, just a squirt bottle is fine)
Snacks (sometimes this is lunch -- but am going to try to do the
DDP and not carry in many snacks on next trip).
Ponchos (always need to have at WDW just in case)
Line game(s) -- maybe quiet electronic, or paper
Wet wipes
Hand sanitizer
Autograph book (with velcroed sharpie pen)
Pens
Camera (s) -- digital, camcorder
Batteries
Film !! (now I guess that's extra cards)
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Chapstick with SPF
Moleskin/scissors
Bandaids (I know they're available at care station -- but that can be a long walk, if you have foot trouble -- use something like Bodyglide before going to Parks)
Kleenex/facial tish
Trash bag(s) (stroller cover, rain gear, etc.)
Water bottle (perhaps drink of choice)
Change of clothes (not always, but in event of weather, or water rides/fountain playing for kids)
Umbrella (small folding one can be helpful in sun and rain -- be careful and aware of other people if using)
Hat/visor
Ibuprofen
Tums
Glow items (to avoid temptation of spending $16.00 on one-use toy during evening parade)
2-way radios (this must go along with film -- outdated by cell phones)
Blow-up cushion -- sometimes sitting on benches, etc. gets hard on the tushie for someone my age
Food storage bags -- since I'm doing the DDP on next trip, I expect to have left-over food (and if you want to get one item at one CS place, but eat it at another, it's helpful to have your own bag for transport).
Gosh -- and I was hoping to not have to carry a backpack on the next trip -- just how big are those pockets in cargo pants??
