What do YOU buy at dollar stores?

We go to one about once a week.

We buy:

Italian white bread... like the sliced ones that you see in the grocery store for $2.99... well the one I bus is a buck and every bit as good as the grocery store variety.

Animal Crackers.... huge bag for a buck.... these are my kids preferred treats for a packed lunch

Party Supplies

and once in a while we buy candy for the movies.

I generally don't buy food.

I get most of my wrapping paper there (not Christmas though. I get that at Target when it goes 90% off), gift bags, cards (2 for $1.00), hair clips for DD, coloring books, seasonal toys, birthday treat bags and treats, craft supplies...

Some of the Dollar Tree stores around me are beautiful Mom & Pop type shops while others are dirty and unpleasant. Obviously, I get more stuff in the nicer ones. It's interesting to me that the appearance of the store reflects so much on the products being sold. My favorite Dollar Tree is filled with happy helpful retiree aged folks who keep the place spotless

Decorations
Door mats for different holidays

Sun automatic dishwashing detergent for soaking my dishes after dinner, my Cascade is too expensive to waste on this
ice packs for injuries, I usually like the characters
holiday pencils
Fabuloso to disinfect my cats litter box
foil baking pans
Cover Up variety pack to go on top of leftovers ect.
Hydrocrtisone for my hands during the winter
Dermasil skin lotion because it has zero smell. I remember when it was a big brand in the stores so I'm ok with it
