What type of things do people bring to WDW to decorate their rooms and also what do people wear in December to add to the "holiday" spirit? I know when I was booking my reservation the gal said "Don't forget to bring your Christmas lights to decorate your room!"

Besides "Santa hats" and holiday shirts, any other ideas for MVMCP??

We've been to WDW week before xmas and we really tend not to bring anything extra. Hard enough getting our usual vacation stuff there without bringing extra. We just enjoy what Disney has to offer and anything we might have brought would be dwarfed by the Disney finery. We do like the xmas hats though, Mickey ears or Goofy ears on a Santa hat are good enough for us. We take in the beauty of Disney with our eyes and camera and relive those precious moments year after year.

We're going to take a few little things to decorate our room and I'm taking surprise stockings for the kids. I want them to have something special when they wake up on Christmas day, even though we're flying home that day. I'm planning to bring my holiday shirts and socks. Other than that, we may pick up a few festive things when we get down there.

I plan on putting some lights up in my hotel, plus some red and green mickey head paint chips...and anything else festive and easy that I can think of...not sure about festive clothing...I might pick up one of those Santa mickey t-shirts

I plan on sending down a box of decorations for our rooms. My DD and her family will arrive first so I'm leaving her in charge of picking up the box @check-in. They'll be 8 of us enjoying a Magical Gathering anniversary celebration. We have ressies for 3 rooms. I have 3 mini trees with lights/ornments, lights to string in our windows, Mickey head garland, stockings to hang on the inside of our doors, I'm thinking about making Mickey head wreaths, and I'll be bringing my Mickey head jingle bells. This will be the first time I've decorated our room during a Disney Christmas visit. I can't wait!!! :bounce:

We'll be there early in Dec, so not planning a whole lot. I picked up some red/green Mickey heads and also a sheet of window clings (which I'll leave for the next family to use our room). I was thinking of bring santa hats for each, but if I can get ones with Mickey/Goofy Ears, than I might wait and buy there.

I'm excited...46 more days :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: party:

Since this is a family get-together (my two favorite things....WDW & Christmas) I am bringing a vintage "Santa Mouse" that our family has had since childhood. He used to stand guard at the top of our stairs while my sister & I slept. It will be fun to see my dad's & sister's faces when they walk in our room & see Santa Mouse!

I'm also bringing festive tops to wear for MVMCP - and I'll get the Santa mouse ears for me & DD while there.

Oh........Plus I'll bring the Plush Reindeer who "flies around our room" while we sleep - DD will just love that!

I have a Christmas stocking for DD. Aside from some holiday sweaters, I doubt we will bring anything else. Our clothes for a week will take up much of our luggage (I don't do laundry on vacation :laundy: ). We'll tour the resorts to see the holiday decorations and enjoy our own decorations at home prior to and following our trip.

Part of my enjoyment in going to WDW for Christmas is NOT cooking Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and enjoying the holiday. :santa:
