This year we are spending our Christmas at My Mum's and therefore I do not have to cook for me and mine from 24-27 December.
What meals do you eat in between Christmas and New Year?
I won't have a Turkey so no leftovers, I may roast a ham.
My problem is we are all home until January 4th, no "tooing and froing" to school so in theory I will have more time to try new recipes but in reality I know we will end up going here there and everywhere and when we return home I will be relied on to get a dinner on the table pronto!
We are usually fed up with roast dinners by then and I don't want to slip into my normal family food rut that I sometimes get in, ie Mince based dishes, Fish pie, pasta, steak, chicken this and that
So what do you cook at times like this?
