what do u do about the dress

Hi there! I am having the worst problem. How in the world do I get my dress down there? I have no clue how to get my dress to the resort. I can't get it on the plane and I need all my luggage for other things! So, please! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
You could actually buy your dress a plane ticket; therefore, you know its right there and safe at all times! Or some people have shipped their dresses down before. You take a risk with shipping it! I think what I am going to do is just buy it a plane ticket or try and put it in the overhead compartment. (It's not too poofy) Good Luck deciding!

I flew Delta & took it as a carryon along with my laptop case. Thye put it in the closet. No problems whatsoever.

I am flying southwest, and putting it in the overhead compartment, i'm bringing another large pocketbook, and my DF is bringing a carryon suitcase with all of my wedding accessories in it. Other than that, we're checking everything else (bridal party gifts, welcome bag stuff) that's stuff i'm not as concerned about! I think i'll be oK with the dress in the overhead compartment since the flight isn't really too booked, so there will be room for the dress!

I Fed Exed mine with a tracking number to Carolyn Allens. It was the best decision for me as we were packing for the cruise and the wedding, a total of 2 weeks. It is a good thing I did too, b/c as it was they wanted to gate check our luggage.
