I am in the midst of planning our second trip to Disney - we are all paid up and flights have been booked for the last week of September. I had the understanding that you could begin booking dining reservations 180 days out - but all of a sudden I am seeing this 180+10 all over the boards. I thought only TA's could book before 180...am I wrong? Can someone clarify this for me?

Thank you so much in advance, as I said in my last post, I know for you veterans this gets old hearing the same questions over and over. I did a search but didn't get much clarification on my question.

Thank you!

OH - nevermind, I feel silly - I went to google and it came up first thing. So sorry for posting redundant information.

Mousesavers web site said you can book at 180 days out plus that same day book ten days from that 180 day mark for the week of your stay. (For anyone else who was wondering). :)

My understanding is the 10 days out is only if you're staying onsite at a Disney resort

I find this confusing as well....lol

So if you arrive say on November 6th, but want to make reservations for your entire stay you can start booking 190 days before November 6th --or-- is it 180 days before November 6th plus you can book 10 days out after your arrival date through your trip?

I'm a newbie too, but from what I learned, 180 days before Nov 6th, you can start making reservations. If you're staying onsite, then you can book for Nov 6th + 10 days (so up to Nov 16th or so)

At 180 days before the day you want to dine anyone (onsite, offsite, local resident) can make a reservation.

The 180 + 10 is for guests staying onsite at a Disney owned resort. At 180 days before your check in date you can make reservations for your check in date plus the next 10 days of your stay. It does not mean 190 days in advance.

Here's a date calculator to figure out 180 days in advance:
