We went last year May3-10 and it was great- crowds were not bad although they did increase when the Celebration offically started it did rain some but we put ponchos on and walked onto some rides, the last day it was HOT so be prepared for varying temps maybe pack a jacket for the evenings. I believe our longest wait was 30 min for Peter Pan that was the shortest we had seen the entire trip so we waited for it- other than that we pretty much did everything we wanted to do with very little waiting- Parade at night was the most frustruating- we were going to skip it but got cought in the crowd and could not make it down MainStreet to exit!! Epcot was neat with the Flower and Garden Festival too. We have small kids so we did not try any thrill rides (ToT wait was 15 min)
I went during Mothers Day in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. The crowds increased with every year. The wait times for the popular attractions were 90 minutes. The wx has always been perfect w/ no rain. I would recommend making ADR's. Despite the increasing crowds, it's my favorite time of year to go.
