I saw at allears.net that pops chicken nuggets for kids is 4.99 and that's all it says at POFQ, they come with milk and 2 sides. I know this is minor, but we have finally narrowed it down to these two and I am trying to figure out where we would enjoy the food most (and get the most of our dining plans).

Silly question, but this is how my brain is working at this point :)

Most WDW kids meals come with drink and 2 sides. However, if you are on the dining plan and the child wants dessert, you would need to select a cookie or pudding as one of those sides.

have you ever eaten at POP (or any of the values)? I wonder why it's not listed that way on the menu. I want to make the credits stretch!

We just came back from the POP in Aug, and yes, the kids meal is MAIN +2 sides (fries, veggies, apple slices, grapes, cookie, etc etc etc).

yay great!!! what did you think of pop? We are going with 4 year olds and would get the free quick dining. that or pay $200 more and do pofq with plus dining. the slides look fun at FQ (and the boat to DD, and the beignets and croissants) but may not be worth the difference. Did you rent a fridge?

I like Pop's food court, but I don't have kids and have no idea of the quality of the kids' meals. I will say the construction of the kids' meals are pretty much the same in all Disney-run restaurants (at CS, entree, drink and two sides, one of which can count as dessert)

The kids meals are pretty much the same at all food courts so I wouldn't worry about that in picking a resort. The DDP "sets" what comes with a meal to make it all pretty standard for the kids meals.

At POFQ, you will have a bigger room, a bit more storage space, 2 sinks. I like the layout and peacefullness of it better than POP.

POFQ is also a smaller resort making it much easier to get around, I find food court less crowded.

Yes, some buses are shared with POR, makign more stops, but at POP, the one bus stop gets pretty corwded, so I would rank transportation about the same.

Boat to DTD is very nice and relaxing and you can use the pools both at POFQ and POR when staying at either one - about a 10 minute walk between them.

Both are nice and have their strong points.

we were a family of 6, 4 repeats and two first timers, rented two rooms at POP, and the kids really liked it, and the adults LOVED it.

It's a really great theme.. POFQ is really nice, but in MY opinion, isn't better than POP. I don't even think of POP as a Value resort.. maybe a Value Plus or a Mini Moderate.

We didn't rent a fridge while there, because we were able to join one of the many Fridge swaps (see the link in my sig!) and got the use of a fridge for basically free for 2 weeks..

Allears.net, while a WONDERFUL source of information, is still an unofficial web site. They depend on people sending them the information so they can stay updated.

My guess is that the last update simply didn't include this information so they went with what they had.
