What do people do that irks you related to WDW

It's not so much at Disney as on the DIS:

When people think there are rules that should be followed because Disney made the rules and you are at Disney, others call them "Disney Police". You don't get a lot of rule followers calling the other types liars, cheaters, slugs, etc.

The parade cutters really bother me at the parks. So much so that I tend to skip the parades now. Which is a shame.

people cutting in front of you when you take a picture

people reciting pre-show lines

people letting their friends cut in line

brazilian tour groups

people who claim FP arent free and won't beleive you when you tell them other wise

parents who let their kids act like maniacs

kids that act like maniacs

the new finger system when you enter the park

parents who think they can tell me what to do

people who think i'm stupid because im a teen

Things that irk me in regards to WDW:
Call the Magic Kingdom Disney World, as if Epcot, MGM and AK weren't even a part of it.
Call Spaceship Earth "The Golf Ball".
Park at Downtown Disney so they can avoid paying the $8 parking fee (this is a biggie!)
Pool Hop
Save space in line, not just for someone who has to use the Restroom, but for whole parties of people.
Resell used tickets to unsuspecting guests either on the street or on Ebay. Then when the guest gets to the park and tries to use it, they find there is no usage left and they are out all of the money they allotted for their tickets. :sad2:

I could probably go on all night, but I won't.

1. People who run after the rope drop.

2. People who sit in the handicapped seating who aren't handicapped.(ex. Lion King show in AK, families kept trying to sit in the front handicapped seats and many argued with the CM when they were asked to move.)

3. People who line-cut.

4. People who push you out of their way, then say "excuse me".

Forgot one, Parents who change their little ones dirty diaper on top of a table in a food area -yuck!

Forgot the big one - Cheap people who try to avoid costs anyway they can including the ones they shouldn't.

Before I could say anything, or otherwise react - her very fat friend (excuse me, but she was also way too wide to fit into this area) MOVED my stoller - WITH CHILD IN IT - about ten feet away from me through the crowded store!! I was aghast, like a deer in the headlights! Then the first woman glared as she walked through the area her friend had just cleared. I just couldn't believe anyone would do this instead of going around the display cases! They both had miserable looks on their faces. I really wish I had known what to say to them.

Wow; unbelievable; how did you maintain your composure. That would have definately sent me over the edge. Good for you for remaining calm.

To all the "It's all about me!!" That was me that stated quite loudly, when you walked in front of me in line, put your items on the counter just as the CM was going to ring up my items (now underneath yours), almost grabs my hand with the tongs at the buffet, amost has me sitting in your lap as you jump to sit at the table my food/tray is already on. etc.

"OH I'm sorry, I must not have gotten the Memo that you owned the world."

Yes after raising 10 kids I get testy with rude people. And yes I was brought up not to point out peoples faults as it is the supreme rudeness and shows lack of class. Guess I am just classless.

2. People who assume that I am purposely running into them with my stroller. I am keeping track of three kids and a husband and trying to walk amongst thousands of people. Do you think I am really here just to run into you? Of course I try to be careful, but sometimes it can't be helped.

I couldn't agree more with this! Also the people who try to dive into the space you're leaving between your stroller and the person in front (to try to prevent hitting them) then give you a dirty look when you accidently hit them!!!! :sad2:

This would be me. Sorry for irking you!

As a kid we always called MK Disney World because at the time, MK WAS Disney World. I never really thought about it until DS3 started thinking that if I said we were going to WDW, that we were going to MK! Old habits are hard to break, but I am trying!

I've been reading through all of the great posts in this thread. Laughing at some, seeing ones that I've said over the years. But as I've been reading this long thread I thought of a new one.

Trying to read the blue text on the blue background of this message board. I never cared for this latest re-design of the message boards.

Steve,
If you scroll down to the bottom of whatever page you are on, you can change your Dis theme to reflect changes in color, etc. I keep mine on "Happy Holidays" to remind me of my annual December trip.

It irks me too when people just "stop" in the middle of a walkway. Although I've seen this happen at home (mall, etc.) it is very prevalent at WDW. We call them "sitm's" (stopping in the middle) and when it happens we all just look at each other and say "sitm's" and we laugh instead of getting mad.

In the parks -
Both last Christmas and Easter, I had many people light up right next to me while waiting for my family to exit a ride. I was nowhere near a designated smoking area. I had also nearly been burned by someone walking in the crowd with a lit cigarette. I would think people would notice there are no ashtrays or cigarette butts around...and find out why and where the smoking area is.

At the resorts -
I hate walking out of my no smoking room into a sea of smoke in front of the door from my neighbors. Come on...take a walk.

Honestly, a lot of the things listed do bother me, but I try to remind myself that I am there in my most favorite place in the whole world, with the best people (my kids) so I don't need to have pet peeves. Honestly.
