What do I need to show proof of ins. w/ L&M car rental?

I have read on these boards that in order to avoid L&M Rentals car insurance you have to show proof of your own insurance. Is the card that I keep in my glove compartment enough or do I need something different?

When I rented from them in Feb, all I showed them was the little card that you keep in your glove compartment or wallet. I had a great experience with them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I could have written the exact same post about our Feb 2002 L&M rental as GlennandAnn did. Same answer to your question. Same good experience. Same thoughts about using again.
