What do I need to do to use our old tickets?

I tried to search but it is down. We are going to get to go to the parks for 2 days after a cruise in Aug. We have a variety of left over tickets that we would like to take advantage of for these 2 days. DH and I both have 2 days left but on 2 different type of tickets. (One so old it has a picture of us on it!) DS (now 13) has a child ticket left over but just 1 days worth.

Can we just take them to the gate? Or will I need to go to Guest Relations? Will they allow DS to use his old child's ticket? If not would they consider allowing DD 6 to use it? Or will I have to trade it in for DS an adult ticket? I want to have an idea of what it will cost us before we arrive.

Will we be allowed to go to Animal Kingdom wiht these old tickets? It did not exist when they were bought!

Also can I buy a 2 day park hopper child's ticket for DD? And a 1 day hopper for DS? I don't see them listed anywhere but in a package and I don't need a package.

Finially, will the water parks pluses still be useable after all the park days are used on the tickets? I think each adult has 3 pluses on it still.

I know this is long, thanks for getting all the way through it and thank you for the help!

1. Bring them with you.

2a. If they fit in the turnstiles, use them as-is including at Animal Kingdom.

2b. If they don't fit in the turnstiles (or if the turnstile CM calls DD on her continued use of her old child ticket) Guest Relations (there's a window outside the turnstiles) will exchange them at no charge for tickets that do fit.

3. OT: It is not a good bargain to use both old tickets and newly purchased tickets during the same vacation of 4 to 10 theme park days.

4. Unused plusses (water park fun) are still valid even if all the park days are used up. Unlimited water park fun, unless otherwise described, expired 7 days from the ticket's first usage even if park days remain.

5. One and two day hoppers can be bought at the ticket booths but are not a good bargain since hopping costs about $45 regardless of how many days are or were on the ticket and also there are no official advance discounts on them.

6. It is Disney's policy not to return old tickets to you if you need to exchange them to get through the turnstiles. You can ask but be prepared to have to choose between keeping the old ticket as a souvenir or getting park admission out of it.

7. Pre-2005 hopper plus tickets need a one time special treatment (quick, no charge) at the Pleasure Island ticket booth before being used to enter the clubs.

Thank-you both!

We have to buy a ticket for our little one as she was not even born when we bought these tickets! DS (now 13) was 2 and 5 on these trips the tickets are left over from. Thats why the adults have 2 days from 2 seperate trips and he only has 1 day.

Thanks again!
