first question is once we get to florida, do I have to do anything the day before the wedding? like a rehearsal or talk to the wedding people or plan anything? I really would like to spend as much of my time there going to the parks!

secondly.. we are arriving on thursday afternoon and that day we are going to hang out at our hotel and once most of our guests get there later in the day we are all going to the hoop de doo musical revue...

but on friday, I really wanted to go to a park.. my DF thinks I'm pushing it and that we should spend friday relaxing as well and doing whatever last minute things need to get done for the wedding saturday morning. am I wrong? Do you think I'll be too tired saturday morning if I spend the day friday in a park? We're only staying 4 days so I wanted to get at least 2 parks done.. but my DF is really thinking going to a park friday will be too much for him!! (last time we went to disney last may, we did epcot for one day and he got sick by the end of it! He thought it was from the heat.. I felt like we hardly were in the park and didn't get to see much of it!).

I guess it's just that I'm a disney freak and want to do as much as possible.. and he's NOT a disney freak and feels like he's on vacation so he wants to relax as much as possible.

We almost got into a fight about it actually.

I ended up saying "I can't believe I"m marrying someone who doesn't like Disney World!" to which he said "I can't believe I'm marrying someone who is crazy about Disney World!".

help please! :guilty:

Let me start with, I know your excited but the best thing to do is to just go with the flow.
Try not to stress about it and let things just fall into place....if you plan ahead & try & stick to a strict schedule....your just gonna make yourself nuts & all the people around you.
You wont believe how fast the time flies.

Some things are best when the are spontanious, save the intinerary for the next WDW trip & just relax ;)

& dont let the fight upset you.....you were both upset & said things you didnt really mean.....we've all done it !:rolleyes1

Go with the flow....relax & dont stress yourself out....

Hey gal! If you read my TR you will see we NEVER slowed down at any point, neither before, nor after the wedding... the night before the wedding we were at MGM until atleast 10pm (Extra magic hours)..after our ceremony BEFORE we went out to eat we were at AK...lol we never stopped.

Second off when you get to Orlando I suggest you call all of your vendors and let them know you are there-- your hotel and room number. Many of your vendors will HAVE to know this because they will meet you there. I called Randy, Carolyn Allens, Rev Jack, and Tanis (WC). I suggest you do the same. Also include a cell phone (if you can) that you can be reached at at all times just in-case something pops up and you arent in the hotel room (which you wont be there all the time so this is naturally something to consider).

Everything will go fine-- Good Luck to you and I wish you many bright days.:goodvibes

You could just plan on seeing how things go while you're down there before stressing out over it. Maybe something will come up and you won't be able to stay in the park ALL day. Also try comprimising, Maybe do a park in the morning, and spend the night relaxing in. That way you both get part of what you want!

I am very organised when it comes to planning. But on the eve of the wedding all I have planned is to go to DTD, then O'hana's for our evening meal and maybe go to The MK to watch Wishes. I figured we should take it easy the day before the Wedding, bearing in mind we arrive the day before the wedding.
We are going to be up at 05.30am the next morning and it will be a really long day, great, but long and tiring.
I am calling all my vendors when we arrive to give them hotel room numbers, cell phone number etc.
My worry is that we may be delayed going out to Florida, god I hope not....

thanks for all the replies... you're all right.. I should just go with the flow.. it will be less stressful that way and I really like the idea of going to the park but maybe coming back to the resort a little early to relax for the next day...

I'll just have to get my DF to promise to bring me back to disneyworld on our 1 year anniversary, then we can stay for a whole week and do everything!

We are arriving the day before our wedding and the only thing we have planned is to have Carolyn Allen's come steam my dress. we will probably just hang out at the hotel and look around. My DF has never been to Disney before so I don't want to overwhelm him even though I would love to rush him into a park! I don't think I would want to overdo it though the day before our wedding. We'll just take it easy, try to go to bed early to get up bright and early the next morning for the big day!!! princess:
