Can someone share a list of everything I need to have and do before online check-in for my cruise?

You need photos of each passenger from the shoulders up. Follow passport photo rules, basically. You also need photos of everyone's passports or other accepted travel documents. You'll want your flight information, too. And you'll need to pick an arrival time if you aren't taking DCL transportation. Finally, you probably want your credit card handy so that you can set up your onboard charge account, unless you're planning to pay with cash.

Don't sweat it like I did. You can always fix errors at the terminal. I think the above covers everything that you'll need. Can't think of anything else.

Does the check and activities booking window still open up at midnight? Our day to book onboard activities and check in for our spring break cruise opens on 1/1/22 so I might be ringing in the new year on my computer 🤣

You can book activities before your check in now. Check in for everyone is 30 days, I believe. But we are silver and booked our activities 90 days out, while my daughter’s family, first timers on DCL, booked 75 days out.

Only other thing (we just went through all of this yesterday) is to take pictures of your Covid shot cards. You will need them when you are 15 days out from your cruise to send to the Safe Passage website. We are gold Castaway Club members and got our email with all the instructions and links for our cruise about 30 days prior to our cruise. It sounds daunting, but, with the photos stored in our computer, it went pretty quickly. Kwami, above, covers all the stuff you should have handy when you get ready to check in. Good luck!!

Does any of the Safe Passage stuff need to be done before doing online checkin at 30 days?

Also, do any of you know how to take the photo of our passports? Is it just the one page with our photos on it? Or the whole 2-page spread - isn't the page next to it a signature page? Any other pages needed?

OK one more thing, sorry. We THINK we're taking Disney transportation but not sure. If you're taking Disney transportation do you just not set up an arrival time? Is that an option?

No, you can't do anything with Safe Passage until 15 days before embark.

I believe just the 1 page but hopefully someone else will confirm.

If you are offered the opportunity to select a PAT, I recommend you do so. If by chance you don't end up taking DCL Transfers, you might be stuck with a late PAT and my understanding is that those are being enforced at Port Canaveral (not sure about other ports).
