Ha ha. But seriously, she is getting a florida discover disney pass and meeting us for a couple of days. We've started to make our FP+ reservations but there is no way to add her in advance huh? I wanted to add her to our room for two days but the CM on the phone told me I couldn't bc she wasn't part of the package so I would have to add her when she gets there. Ugh! All this planning even makes a disophile go crazy!!

The designers of the "new system" failed to take into account many of the real-life situations of guests visiting in various combinations.

Before they even started testing, there were many threads here with DISers posting "but what if..." questions just like this one.

Nobody at Disney seems to have bothered to run the numbers on these things.

I am experiencing similar frustrations because of the nature of my next trip. I am traveling down with my daughter, her friend, and her friend's mother. A few days in said friend and mother will have their own room and my husband and youngest will be arriving. The system can't manage this and it has caused many mistakes on Disney's end and headaches for me. I finally removed the friend and mother completely from my reservation and added on my husband and son. I will deal with it when I arrive, but I have a feeling it will be more of the same screw ups on Disney's end...

I have the same problem. 3 different families buying passes at different times.

Since she isn't on your ressie she is only allowed to get FP's the day of.

But some cm's told we they would be able to match the FP together. So if you all have one for sm at 3 pm she could get one to.

But since she can' t get hers until the day of, your going to be wasting a lot of time scheduling her fp in the morning. The lines are long at the entrance, but they have them scattered around the parks at different locations that no one knows about so I'd head there first.

Are you a DVC member? Because I know there is no change if you add her to your ressie as long as your unit isn't at capacity. I do think you are charged to add another on to you reg rm.
