What do I do with a 5 pound bar of chocolate?

I hate to tell you but "making something with it" is adding more calories on.:lmao:

LOL

I would break it up into smaller pieces and freeze it. Then use it (or snack on it) when you need it. Especially with Christmas coming, you could make lots of stuff with it, maybe even for gifts (I like to melt chocolate and make popcorn balls with it).

Oh that sounds good too, do you have a recipe for it?

thanks so much for all of the ideas. I would gladly share it if you all were closer.

All I do is melt a bunch of chocolate in a bowl (in the microwave), add the popcorn, mix it up and form it into balls. Then just let it cool. You can drizzle melted white chocolate on them or sprinkle them with colored sugar to make them prettier. And you can put sticks in them to make them like lollipops. I actually prefer to make mine with white chocolate and drizzle with milk chocolate. (I get the big chocolate bars from Trader Joe's).

I have had a 5lb bar before. I had to 1st break it into tiny peices so I didn't eat too much in one sitting.

I found myself melting it and pouring it on top of ice cream a lot. DELICIOUS!!!

People bring those in to work occasionally -- I will warn you that they are really hard to break into anything resembling normal pieces. Best method is simply to smash them (but prepare to contain the shards and chunks that go flying!) Instead of dainty little pieces, people end up taking big nuggets back to their desks and gnawing on them!
